Early-life: William John Neeson was born on June 7, 1952, in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. He made his acting debut at 11 in a school play. He was a good teenage amateur boxer, winning the Irish Youth Championship, but quit after blacking out following a fight. Neeson later enrolled at St Mary's Teaching College in Belfast, but became interested in acting on joining the Belfast Lyric Players' Theatre. He made ends meet with various odd jobs, including forklift operator, truck driver and assistant architect, before stardom beckoned.
Career: Neeson's professional debut was on stage in The Risen People. He was spotted in a play at Dublin's Abbey Theatre by director John Boorman, who cast him in movie Excalibur in 1981. He made a name for himself in Krull, A Woman of Substance, Ellis Island and The Mission. Other leading roles came in Suspect, The Dead Pool and The Big Man. However, he didn't become a major star until Schindler's List in 1993. Since then he's featured in Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace, Gangs of New York, Love Actually, Kinsey and the brilliant action film Taken. He was also seen in the big-screen version of The A Team and has several blockbusters in the pipeline.

Trivia: Dated a string of famous women, including Julia Roberts, Brooke Shields, Barbra Streisand, Sinead O'Connor and Helen Mirren. Married actress Natasha Richardson, mother of his sons Micheal and Daniel. She died in a skiing accident in 2009.
Forest Whitaker (Actor) .. Inspector Frank Dotzler

Best Known For: His Oscar-winning performance in The Last King of Scotland.
Early-life: Forest Steven Whitaker was born in Longview, Texas, on July 15, 1961, to parents Forest Whitaker Jr and Laura Francis Smith. He was born with the condition strabismus, more commonly known as lazy eye. While raising Forest and his two brothers Kenn and Damon, his mum managed to put herself through college and gain two masters degrees. He won a college football scholarship and later attended the University of Southern California, where he switched his attention to music, training as an operatic tenor, before studying drama at Berkeley.
Career: Whitaker made his screen debut in Fast Times at Ridgemont High alongside Judge Reinhold, Nicolas Cage and Phoebe Cates. Roles on TV followed, in such shows as Diff'rent Strokes and Cagney & Lacey, before an excellent scene in The Colour of Money opposite Paul Newman showcased his talents to a wider audience and led to further film roles in the likes of Platoon and Good Morning Vietnam. He starred in the 1988 Charlie Parker biopic Bird, and has since put together an impressive body of work, including The Crying Game, Ghost Dog, The Last King of Scotland, Vantage Point and two seasons of The Shield. He always has a number of films and TV work in the pipeline.

Maggie Grace (Actor) .. Kim Mills

Best Known For: Playing Shannon in Lost.
Early-life: Margaret Grace Denig was born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 21, 1983. She grew up in Worthington, and didn't start acting until 2001, when she was in her late teens. By the end of the year she had appeared in Canadian production Rachel's Room and been lined up to head the cast of Septuplets. Unfortunately, the latter was cancelled before it had aired.
Career: After only a short time as an actress, Maggie landed parts in various dramas such as CSI: Miami, The Lyon's Den, Miracles and Cold Case, as well as TV movies Murder in Greenwich and Twelve Mile Road, playing Tom Selleck's estranged daughter. A larger audience will have been made aware of her thanks to numerous episodes of Oliver Beene, but she's best known for portraying spoilt Shannon Rutherford in Lost. Her recent credits include The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Parts 1 and 2, and the Taken movies.
Quote: 'I used to trip over my legs and get detention for my too-short shorts because none fitted. I still trip, but now I like to show them off.'

Early-life: Born November 5, 1964, in Holland. She has two sisters. She speaks four languages - Dutch, German, English and French. Thanks to her stunning looks and figure, Janssen became a model while studying economics at the University of Amsterdam, before moving to the US in 1984, where she majored in writing and literature at New York's Columbia University. It was there she began acting, before moving to Los Angeles.
Career: Made her movie debut in 1992's Fathers and Sons, alongside Jeff Goldblum. Three years later she worked on Clive Barker's movie Lord of Illusions. It helped her land the part of murderous Russian Xenia Onatopp in 007 adventure GoldenEye. Went on to star in City of Industry, Deep Rising, Celebrity and The Faculty before making the blockbuster X-Men in 2000 and its two blockbusting sequels. She's also appeared in Ally McBeal, a string of movies, and won rave reviews for her role in Liam Neeson thriller, Taken.
Dougray Scott (Actor) .. Stuart St John
Born: November 25, 1965 in Glenrothes, Scotland
Best Known For: Mission: Impossible II.
Early-life: Born Stephen Dougray Scott on November 25, 1965, in Glenrothes, Scotland. He studied at the Kirkcaldy College of Technology and the Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he was named the most promising drama student. He made his stage debut as Jem in To Kill a Mockingbird. On discovering there was already an actor registered with Equity called Stephen Scott, he adopted Dougray, his middle name and his French grandmother's surname.
Career: Dougray made his TV debut in an episode of Taggart in 1992, the same year he also appeared in Lovejoy, Tell Tale Hearts and his first film, The Weak and Wide Astray. Three years later he got his big break when he was cast as Major Rory Taylor in Soldier Soldier. He followed that with The Crow Road and Twin Town before moving to Hollywood to make Ever After and Deep Impact. A well-known face on both sides of the Atlantic, Dougray's work also includes Mission: Impossible II, This Year's Love, Enigma and Ripley's Game. He was a frontrunner to replace Pierce Brosnan as James Bond before it eventually went to Daniel Craig. More recently, he has starred on TV in The Day of the Triffids, My Week with Marilyn, Hitman and United. He is constantly in demand.
