Eddie Redmayne (Actor) .. Newt Scamander
Born: January 06, 1982 in London
Best Known For: The 2012 movie version of Les Miserables.
Early-life: Edward John David Redmayne was born in London on January 6, 1982 to Patricia and Richard. He attended the Jackie Palmer Stage School in High Wycombe and was educated at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge. His first stage performance was playing a workhouse boy in a Sam Mendes production of Oliver! He also gained experience with the National Youth Theatre.
Career: Redmayne starred in a production of Twelfth Night at Shakespeare's Globe theatre in 2002 and two years later, he won an Evening Standard award for his performance in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? His TV credits include roles in Doctors, Elizabeth I, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, The Pillars of the Earth and Birdsong. His big break came in 2012 when he was cast as Marius Pontmercy in the big-screen version of Les Miserables.
Quote: "I walk around talking to myself in accents. Usually people look at me like I'm a complete fruit loop."
Trivia: Redmayne won a Laurence Olivier award in 2010 for his role in Red.
Jude Law (Actor) .. Albus Dumbledore
Born: December 29, 1972 in London
Best Known For: The Talented Mr Ripley.
Early-life: Born David Jude Heyworth Law on December 29, 1972, in Lewisham, South East London, he grew up in Blackheath. His parents were teachers who were interested in amateur dramatics, and now run their own theatre company in France. Law hated the amount of violence and bullying that went on at his local comprehensive, so was sent to a private school. He also joined the National Youth Music Theatre at 12.
Career: Law made his TV debut in 1989's The Tailor of Gloucester, and a year later left school to take a role in daytime soap Families. During his early twenties, he spent much of his time on stage, where he gained numerous plaudits. His first film, Shopping, wasn't a success, but he made a name for himself in Wilde. Appearances in Gattaca, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, eXistenZ and AI: Artificial Intelligence cemented his reputation. He gained an Oscar nomination for The Talented Mr Ripley in 1999, and another for Cold Mountain four years later. Other projects include Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Aviator and The Holiday. His more recent roles include a part in Guy Ritchie's takes on Sherlock Holmes, playing Dr Watson. He also occasionally appears in stage productions.

Ezra Miller (Actor) .. Credence Barebone
Born: September 30, 1992 in Wyckoff, New Jersey
Best Known For: We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Early-life: Ezra Matthew Miller was born in Wyckoff, New Jersey, on September 30, 1992 to Marta and Robert. He has two older sisters, Saiya and Caitlin. When he was six, he trained as an opera singer to overcome a speech impediment. He began his film career in 2008 when he played a teenager in Afterschool.
Career: Miller's big break came in 2011 when he starred alongside Tilda Swinton and John C Reilly in We Need to Talk About Kevin. He went on to have success in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). He has also had roles on TV in Californication, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Royal Pains.

Trivia: Miller has sung with the Metropolitan Opera and he is a drummer and singer in New York-based band Sons of an Illustrious Father.
Mads Mikkelsen (Actor) .. Gellert Grindelwald

Best Known For: Playing Le Chiffre in Casino Royale (2008).
Early-life: Mads Dittmann Mikkelsen was born in Copenhagen on November 22, 1965 to Bente Christiansen and Henning Mikkelsen. His brother, Lars, is also an actor. When he was young, Mads trained as a gymnast before choosing to study dancing in Gothenburg. He was a professional dancer for nearly a decade before leaving to study drama at the Arhus Theatre School in 1996, with the ambition of becoming an actor.
Career: Mikkelsen's debut was in the Danish crime drama Pusher (1996). From there, he slowly grew to become one of the biggest film actors in Denmark, with his credits including Flickering Lights (2000) and Shake It (2001). He got more attention internationally when he played Tristan in King Arthur (2004) and achieved global recognition as the main antagonist, Le Chiffre, in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006). Since then, his roles have included Igor Stravinsky in the French film Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky (2008), Lucas in Danish film The Hunt (2012), Kaecilius in the Marvel film Doctor Strange (2016) and Galen Erso in the Star Wars film Rogue One (2016).

Katherine Waterston (Actor) .. Tina Goldstein

Early-life: Katherine Boyer Waterston was born on March 3, 1980 to former American model Lynn Louisa and Oscar-nominated American actor Sam in Westminster, London, while her parents were both working there. Her sister, Elisabeth, and half-brother, James, are both actors. Her brother, Graham, is a director. She attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Career: Waterston's feature film debut was in Michael Clayton (2007). She then went on to have supporting roles in such films as Robot & Frank (2012), Being Flynn (2012) and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her (2013) before landing her leading role in Inherent Vice (2014). Since then, she has played Chrisann Brennan in Steve Jobs (2015) and starred in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). Her acting career has also seen her appear on stage, such as in the original Off-Broadway production of Bachelorette and in the Classic Stage Company production of The Cherry Orchard.

Trivia: She was nominated for the Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Inherent Vice.

Best Known For: Penning the blockbusting Harry Potter novels
Early-life: Joanne Rowling was born near Bristol in 1965. She has a younger sister, Di. When Jo was four, the family moved to Winterbourne and later Wales. After studying at the University of Exeter, Jo spent a year in Paris, before moving back to London to work for Amnesty International. In the early 1990s, she moved to Portugal, to teach English as a foreign language. She moved to Scotland in 1994 to be near her sister, and after a short period of living on benefits, Jo published her first novel.
Career: Bloomsbury bosses advised Rowling to come up with a pair of initials instead of using her own name, as they feared boys wouldn't buy books written by a woman, so she borrowed her grandmother Kathleen's initial. In 1997, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone won several awards, including the prestigious British Book Award for Children's Book of the Year. The subsequent titles in the series have all gone on to become phenomenally popular. In 1998, Warner Bros bought the rights to the series and work began on the films, with Rowling assisting in the script-writing process.
Quote: On the Harry Potter merchandise flooding the market: "I don't worry about it. I think the books will always be more important than the bits of plastic."
Trivia: Away from Harry Potter, Rowling supports several charitable causes and was awarded an OBE in 2000.
