After crossing the Southern Ocean, Julia's boat is surrounded by penguins and seals before a pod of humpback whales finally breaks cover to breath and feed. Following an emotional overnight camp in Paradise Bay, Julia then experiences the raw power of nature thanks to a giant iceberg split

Julia Bradbury (Presenter)
Born: July 24, 1970 in Dublin
Best Known For: Presenting Countryfile and her rambles around the world.
Early-life: Born July 24, 1970, in Dublin but was raised in Rutland and Sheffield by her British Steel-worker father and her Greek mother, who ran a fashion business. Julia was a keen performer as a child, and as a result took part as a child in the Crucible Theatre's stage production of Peter Pan, starring Joanne Whalley and Paula Wilcox. She left school at 16 and landed a job in advertising.
Career: Bradbury started as a presenter with Chrysalis TV, followed by L!VE TV, before making the transition in 1996 from cable TV to terrestrial with GMTV as their Los Angeles correspondent. She helmed Channel 5's Exclusive! showbusiness magazine upon the station's launch in 1997 and has since presented Watchdog, Accidental Heroes, Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, Wainwright Walks and Railway Walks for the BBC, as well as Rough Guide for Channel 5. She began presenting Countryfile with Matt Baker when it was relaunched in 2009. She is also the host of ITV quiz show Take on the Twisters.

Trivia: As a contestant on Just the Two of Us, Bradbury sang alongside Tony Christie.
