Early-life: Born in 1976, in South London to a dancer and comedy writer Ray Cameron, McIntyre had a thoroughly middle-class upbringing that he describes as being entirely short of misery or material. He did his first open mic spot in 2001 having dropped out of a biology degree at Edinburgh University.
Career: Hailed as the best new stand-up to emerge in a decade, Michael has taken the comedy world by storm. He delivered electrifying sets on both We Are Not Amused (Prince Charles's 60th birthday celebrations on ITV1) and the Royal Variety Performance (BBC One), plus a stand-out performance as host on the first episode of BBC One's Live at the Apollo, leading to the Comedy Roadshow vehicle.

Trivia: His debut DVD release, Michael McIntyre Live & Laughing, became the fastest selling debut stand-up DVD of all time, selling more than 600,000 copies.

Best Known For: His role as team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Early-life: Born Mark Bailey in Bath on January 13, 1964, he gained the nickname Bill at King Edward's School in Bath, where he surprised his teachers by excelling at sport. In his youth, he spent a lot of time listening to Monty Python records, and formed a band called the Famous Five. After landing an associateship at the London College of Music, and working with a theatre troupe, he accidentally wandered into a John Hegley gig, where he decided to become a stand-up comedian.
Career: Bill started touring with the likes of Phill Jupitus and Mark Lamarr, before forming a double-act in 1989 with Martin Stubbs. His big break came in 1995 with the show Bill Bailey's Cosmic Jam, a performance of which was filmed and broadcast on Channel 4. In 1998, he scooped his own comedy show on the BBC, Is It Bill Bailey?, and enjoyed a series of successful guest slots on shows such as Have I Got News for You. Bill also starred in Dylan Moran's Channel 4 sitcom Black Books, before taking over from Sean Hughes as a captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks in 2002. He's a regular on quiz show QI, and has also enjoyed other acting roles in the likes of Jonathan Creek and Fifteen Storeys High. His big-screen CV includes the movies Saving Grace and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, while his cameo in Hot Fuzz was very well-received. He also continues to tour with his stand-up, selling out arenas all over the world, and has begun a separate career as a presenter of wildlife shows, including the ITV series Baboons with Bill Bailey.

Born: August 27, 1972 in Wolverhampton
Best Known For: Winning the gold medal in the heptathlon at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Early-life: Denise was born in Wolverhampton on August 27, 1972. As a child, she wanted to be an athlete. She joined the Birchfield Harriers athletics club at the age of 13.
Career: Specialising in the heptathlon, Lewis took gold in the event at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria. She collected a bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and a gold medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. The pinnacle of her sporting career came in 2000 when she won a gold medal at the Sydney Olympics. Lewis competed at the 2004 Olympics but a number of injuries led to her withdrawing from the competition. Since retiring from athletics, Lewis has worked as a pundit for BBC Sport. In 2004, she took part in Strictly Come Dancing and was the runner-up to Jill Halfpenny. She has also participated in All Star Family Fortunes, Pointless, The Cube and Big Star's Little Star with her son Ryan.

Anna Richardson (Contributor)
Born: September 27, 1970 in Wellington, Shropshire
Best Known For: Presenting Secret Eaters.
Early-life: Anna Clare Richardson was born on September 27, 1970 in Wellington, Shropshire. She was educated at The School of St Mary and St Anne, which is a boarding school in Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire.
Career: Richardson made her TV presenting debut on The Big Breakfast on Channel 4. After that, she made regular appearances on programmes like Love Bites, Love Bites Back, Dream Ticket, Des Res and Big Screen. As well as presenting TV shows, she also wrote and produced programmes like No Waste Like Home, Turn Back Your Body Clock and You Are What You Eat. Richardson then went on to present a variety of Channel 4 programmes, including Supersize vs Superskinny, The Sex Education Show and Secret Eaters. Since 2016, she has presented Supershoppers with Andi Osho. She has also presented Naked Attraction.
Quote: "The really great thing is I think that now that things like transgender and gender fluidity is such big news, people are becoming really accepting of different types of relationships."
Trivia: She is qualified in hypnotherapy.
