Three modern families take a trip back in time to enjoy a night of prime-time TV from the 1970s, to discover what people watched, how they watched it and what it says about the different eras. Putting away their mobiles and picking up their cuppas, the families are treated to a range of 50-year-old programmes including sitcoms, game shows, drama and news, as well as a range of 1970s adverts giving a glimpse of newly emerging brands and how they spoke to people's aspirations and daily lives
