Early-life:
Sally was born in Stockport on July 8, 1973. She has a younger brother, Christopher, with whom she's very close - she was the best man at his wedding. Her first brush with showbusiness came when, as a member of the St Winifred's Choir, she two weeks at number one thanks to the song Grandma. After school, she studied English language and literature at Hull University.
Career:
Lindsay performed stand-up before turning to acting. Her TV debut came in an episode of The Royle Family in 2000. A year later she made a brief appearance alongside close friend Peter Kay in his cult sitcom Phoenix Nights. A few months on, Lindsay played Shelley Unwin for the first time in Coronation Street, a role she played until 2006. Since then, she has starred in Reggie Perrin, Scott & Bailey, Mount Pleasant, Still Open All Hours and Ordinary Lies.

Early-life:
Born July 15, 1975, in Gateshead. She doesn't come from a theatrical background - her dad was a builder and her mum a classroom assistant - and says she has no idea where her love of acting came from. But she's been doing it from an early age; she attended classes at First Act Theatre in Gosforth and began appearing in Byker Grove, alongside Ant and Dec, at the age of 13.
Career:
After quitting Byker Grove in 1992, Halfpenny took a break from TV for five years, eventually returning with a role in The Bill. Small parts in Birds of a Feather, Heartbeat and Peak Practice followed before she began playing Rebecca in Coronation Street in 1999. A year later, the character left Weatherfield having broken up Martin Platt's marriage to Gail. In 2002 she began a three-year stint as Kate, who married Phil Mitchell, in EastEnders. Since then Halfpenny has popped up in Inspector George Gently, Waterloo Road, Wild at Heart and Mount Pleasant. She was also Strictly Come Dancing champion in 2004 and has appeared in several acclaimed stage productions, including Calendar Girls and Legally Blonde.

Early-life:
Dean was born in Rotherham on August 6, 1963. His parents were publicans. He spent 20 years singing at holiday resorts and on cruise ships before his big break came when he successfully auditioned for a part in Ken Loach's The Navigators (2001), a film set in Sheffield.
Career:
Andrews went on to pick up guest roles in the likes of Buried, Clocking Off, No Angels, Casualty, Wire in the Blood and Shameless before landing his dream part as Ray Carling in the critically acclaimed Life on Mars. He played Carling in two series of Life on Mars and three series of spin-off show Ashes to Ashes. Since then, Andrews has rarely been off TV screens. He has starred in Marchlands, The Case, Being Eileen, Vera and Last Tango in Halifax.

Trivia:
