Early-life: Born Sheryl Ann Fenn in Detroit, Michigan on February 1, 1965. She has two older brothers and her aunt is singer Suzi Quatro. Her mother was also a musician who moved the family around a lot due to her work. She eventually settled in Los Angeles and her daughter enrolled at the famous Beverly Hills High School. Career: Fenn's first film was 1984's The Wild Life, which she followed with roles in Just One of the Guys (1985), Out of Control (1985) and a brief appearance in an episode of Cheers. Other early projects include the forgettable Zombie High (1987) and the TV series 21 Jump Street. Fenn proved she was more than just a pretty face in 1988's Two Moon Junction, but it was David Lynch's Twin Peaks in 1990 that put her on the map. She worked with Lynch again on Wild at Heart (1990), and has since appeared in Of Mice and Men (1992), Boxing Helena (1993), Three of Hearts (1993) and Fatal Instinct (1993). She continues to make appearances in films and TV shows. Her recent work includes recurring roles on Boston Public, Gilmore Girls, Magic City and Ray Donovan.
