Early-life:
Brian Jeffrey Krause was born on February 1, 1969, in El Toro, California. He became interested in treading the boards while at high school and at 16 began taking acting lessons, which led to his first appearances on TV. Krause also considered becoming an expert in sports medicine, played for a semi-professional football team and did several odd jobs, such as truck driving and roofing, until he began gaining regular acting work.
Career:
Krause's early parts include small roles in series TV 101 and Highway to Heaven in 1989. He made his first movie, Return to the Blue Lagoon, in 1991, followed a year later by Sleepwalkers. He went on to appear in such forgettable projects as The Liars' Club, Danielle Steel's Family Album, Mind Games and Trash, as well as having guest roles in Tales from the Crypt and Walker: Texas Ranger. In 1998, he began featuring in Charmed, and by 2000, was a regular cast member. He has starred in a number of projects since Charmed ended in 2006.
