Career: Walsh's big TV break came in 1993, when he appeared on the Royal Variety Show. It led to a stint presenting the National Lottery, and he also hosted the game shows Wheel of Fortune and Win, Lose or Draw. After fearing his brand of light entertainment was becoming dated he moved into acting, taking parts in the TV version of Lock, Stock, the soap Night and Day and movie Mike Bassett: England Manager before Coronation Street's bosses created the role of Danny Baldwin for him in 2004. He stayed in Weatherfield for two years before leaving to pursue other projects. He's since appeared in Torn, The Old Curiosity Shop, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Law and Order: UK and SunTrap. He moved back into presenting in 2009 with ITV quiz show The Chase, and is a team captain on Play to the Whistle.

Career: James and Coxon dropped out of university in their second year to concentrate on the band. Blur released their first single, She's So High, in 1990, and their debut album Leisure charted at a respectable number seven. However, it was the release of their third album, Parklife, in 1994 that transformed the band into a household name. The following year, they got drawn into a high-profile chart battle with Oasis, which they won, but following the hype, Blur changed musical direction. Coxon parted company with the band in 2002 ahead of their seventh album Think Tank, but the original line-up reunited for a string of concerts in 2009. Blur also performed a headline show at Hyde Park for the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony, as well as a handful of festival dates in 2013.

Career: Widdecombe always wanted to be an MP and tried to win her first seat in Burnley, Lancashire, in 1979. Despite halving the Labour majority, she lost. Her second attempt in the Plymouth Devonport seat four years later was also unsuccessful, but in 1987 she won the Maidstone seat for the Conservatives, which she held until 2010. She joined John Major's government in the pensions department in 1990, and four years later became Minister for Employment. Several more prominent roles followed, but she announced her retirement from front-bench politics in 2001, not long after her first novel was published. Widdecombe then won the support of a different kind of voter when she took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2010. She has also hosted the general knowledge quiz Cleverdicks.

Career: Cox's big break came in September 1999 when she joined Radio 1. She began by co-hosting a Saturday lunchtime show with Emma B and Sunday Surgery with Dr Mark Hamilton. In March 2000, she replaced Zoe Ball as the presenter of The Radio 1 Breakfast Show. She stayed with the show for three years before being replaced by Chris Moyles. Since then, Cox has presented various shows on Radio 1. She joined Radio 2 for her first regular show in October 2013. In December 2013, she was a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special.

Career: After attending St Malachy's College in Northern Ireland, his first job was on a building magazine. He got his break at 21 on an Ulster news programme - as the youngest-ever anchorman. BBC One phone-in show Open Air followed in 1986, and from there he moved to GMTV, where he spent 12 years. He now hosts Sky News's Sunrise four days a week, and presents This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford on Fridays; they also co-present the game show Gift Wrapped. Has also hosted the National Lottery, The Feelgood Factor, Sporting Greats, Pass the Buck, Hard Spell and Sudo-Q, as well as numerous sports-related shows.
