An activist is mysteriously bludgeoned to death while chained to an excavator with his group during a protest. Mackenzie's investigation soon finds her in a dilemma as of the four suspects, three were chained to the excavator with the victim and therefore unable to kill him, while the other in the frame had no motive to do so.
