Early-life:
Simon was born in London on July 21, 1972. He had a number of jobs after leaving school, including working in a supermarket and a charity shop. In 2001, he began making travel documentaries for the BBC.
Career:
Reeve's travel documentaries for the BBC include Meet the Stans, Equator, Tropic of Capricorn, Explore, Indian Ocean, Australia with Simon Reeve, Sacred Rivers with Simon Reeve, Ireland with Simon Reeve and Greece with Simon Reeve. While working as an investigative reporter, he wrote books about Osama bin Laden and the Munich massacre that took place during the 1972 Summer Olympics.
