Born: June 11, 1986 in Los Angeles
Best Known For: The Transformers films.
Early-life: Shia Saide LaBeouf was born in Los Angeles on June 11, 1986. He has described his parents as "hippies", and his upbringing was pretty unconventional as the family struggled for money. He started acting classes at a young age and declined a place at Yale University to focus on the profession. He had a brief flirtation with stand-up comedy before moving into the slightly more mainstream path to teenage fame - Disney.
Career: Shia took a starring role in Disney show Even Stevens, as well as a number of Disney movies. He went on to small roles in films including Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003) and Bobby (2006) before his big break came in 2007 when he starred in Disturbia. This led to roles in Transformers (2007) and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and starring alongside Michael Douglas in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010). More recently, he has starred in Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), Lawless (2012) and Nymphomaniac (2013).

Trivia: At a film premiere in February 2014, he wore a brown paper bag over his head reading "I am not famous anymore."
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Actor) .. Carly Spencer
Born: April 18, 1987 in Plymouth
Best Known For: Being a model and actress.
Early-life: Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley was born in Plymouth on April 18, 1987 to Fiona and Charles. She grew up on a farm near Tavistock in Devon. At the age of 15, she did some work experience at London-based model agency Profile. A year later, she appeared in her first modelling session for a Levi's jeans commercial.
Career: In 2004, Huntington-Whiteley did a shoot for Teen Vogue in New York and made her catwalk debut. Two years later, she began modelling for Victoria's Secret. Since then, Huntington-Whiteley has modelled for Burberry, appeared on the cover of British Vogue, and posed nude for a Pirelli Calendar. She made a move into acting by playing the female lead in Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011). Her next major acting role will be in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).

Trivia: In 2011, she won the Female Star of Tomorrow CinemaCon Award.
Josh Duhamel (Actor) .. Lennox
Born: November 14, 1972 in Minot, North Dakota
Best Known For: Las Vegas.
Early-life: Joshua David Duhamel was born in Minot, North Dakota, on November 14, 1972 to Bonnie and Larry. He has three younger sisters, Ashlee, Mckenzee and Kassidy. He attended Minot State University and played for the university's American football team. In 1997, he won a male model of the year competition, beating Ashton Kutcher.
Career: Duhamel's first taste of acting came as an extra in a number of music videos. In 1999, he began training with Scott Sedita Acting Studios and later that year, he won a part in daytime soap All My Children. Between 2003 and 2008, he played Danny McCoy in prime-time drama Las Vegas. His film credits include the Transformers movies, The Romantics (2010), When in Rome (2010), New Year's Eve (2011) and Movie 43 (2013).
Quote: "Soap operas are such a great way to break-in to the industry. The diminishing landscape of daytime TV means it's going to be harder for young talent to get discovered."
Trivia: He won a Daytime Emmy Award for All My Children.
Tyrese Gibson (Actor) .. Epps
Born: December 30, 1978 in Los Angeles
Best Known For: Playing Roman in the Fast and the Furious franchise.
Early-life: Tyrese Darnell Gibson was born in Los Angeles on December 30, 1978. His mother, Priscilla, raised him and his three older siblings as a single parent. After singing the phrase `Always Coca-Cola" in a commercial, Tyrese landed work as a model for the likes of Guess and Tommy Hilfiger, although deep down he just wanted to be a singer.
Career: In 1998, Gibson was signed by RCA Records. His debut single, Nobody Else, reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Later the same year, he released his self-titled album. He continues to record albums. He first made an impact as an actor in John Singleton's Baby Boy (2001), but he is best known for playing Roman Pearce in the Fast and the Furious franchise. His other film credits include Four Brothers (2005), Transformers (2007) and two sequels, Legion (2010) and Black Nativity (2013).

Patrick Dempsey (Actor) .. Dylan
Born: January 13, 1966 in Lewiston, Maine
Best Known For: Grey's Anatomy.
Early-life: Patrick Galen Dempsey was born on January 13, 1966, in Lewiston, Maine. He grew up in Buckfield, and attended the local high school. As a teenager, Patrick dreamed of being a circus performer and hoped to attend Clown College after coming third for his age group at a National Jugglers' competition. However, he moved into acting, and won a few small parts in films including Heaven Help Us and Meatballs III: Summer Job.
Career: Dempsey became a teen mag favourite when he starred in Can't Buy Me Love in 1987 as Ronald, a nerd who pays a popular cheerleader to go out with him. He won a Young Artist Award for the role, which led to parts in movies including In a Shallow Grave and Loverboy. However, his career went into a downward spiral, and many of his films, including Run and Face the Music, were box-office flops. A range of TV movies followed, and he appeared opposite Dustin Hoffman in 1995's Outbreak. After starring in Scream 3, Dempsey's popularity increased again, and he has since been seen in Will & Grace and Sweet Home Alabama. He currently stars as Dr Derek Shepherd in medical drama Grey's Anatomy. Though he had a box-office hit with family film Enchanted in 2007, Made of Honor, released in 2010, was less well received.

Frances McDormand (Actor) .. Mearing
Born: June 23, 1957 in Chicago
Best Known For: Fargo.
Early-life: Frances Louise McDormand was born in Chicago on June 23, 1957, and was adopted by a nurse and a pastor. She has two other siblings that were also adopted by her parents. Her father moved around a lot with his work, so she ended up living in lots of small towns in Illinois. She attended Bethany College, West Virginia, and Yale University School of Drama. Her first professional acting job was a play in Trinidad and Tobago.
Career: Frances made her film debut in Joel and Ethan Coen's first film Blood Simple (1984). She went on to win an Academy Award for her role in Fargo (1996) and picked up further nominations for Mississippi Burning (1988), Almost Famous (2000) and North Country (2005). The acclaimed actress has also starred in Short Cuts (1993), Lone Star (1996), Wonder Boys (2000), The Man Who Wasn't There (2001), Laurel Canyon (2002), Friends with Money (2006), Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008), Burn After Reading (2009), Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) and Moonrise Kingdom (2012). She voiced a character in Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012).

Trivia: Wed Joel Coen in 1984. They have an adopted son, Pedro. She won a Tony award in 2011 for her performance on Broadway in Good People.
John Malkovich (Actor) .. Bruce Brazos
Best Known For: His intense stare.
Early-life: John Gavin Malkovich was born on December 9, 1953, in Illinois. His father, Daniel, was a conservation director and publisher of Outdoor Illinois magazine; his mother, Joe Anne, owned local newspaper the Benton Evening News. He has four siblings. Malkovich became hooked on acting at school, and after majoring in theatre at university, joined Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, which had recently been formed by his friend, Gary Sinise.
Career: In 1980 Malkovich moved to New York to further his career, and won great acclaim in 1984 for his performance opposite Dustin Hoffman in Death of a Salesman. Early films include Places in the Heart, The Killing Fields and Empire of the Sun, but it was 1988's Dangerous Liaisons that made him a star. Further plaudits came for Of Mice and Men and In the Line of Fire. He played a version of himself in Being John Malkovich. He continues to appear on both stage and screen in a variety of projects, including blockbuster hits RED and its sequel, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Quote: "I still don't know if I made the right decision when I went into acting. I have driven school buses, sold egg rolls and painted houses, and I have often wondered what my life would have been like if I hadn't gone into acting. Mind you, it's a great life."
Trivia: In June, an elderly man tripped on a Toronto street and slashed his neck on some scaffolding. Malkovich saved his life by applying pressue to the wound until he could receive medical help.
