Early-life:
Born on March 13, 1987 in Anfield, Liverpool. Kerrie developed an interest in acting after she joined a drama class with her sister while studying at Holly Lodge Girls' College in West Derby. She later studied at Liverpool Community College.
Career:
Hayes got her TV acting debut when she landed the lead role of Ruby Moss in the drama Lilies. Since then, she has made guest appearances in Casualty, Holby City, Inspector George Gently, The Commander and Doctors. As well as TV, she has had acting roles in the films Sparkle (2007), Nowhere Boy (2009), Kicks (2009) and Brighton Rock (2009). She has also appeared in such TV dramas as The Mill, The Living and the Dead and Little Boy Blue.

On asking her parents for drama classes: 'I asked if I could go to drama classes when I was about 13. They agreed as long as my school grades didn't suffer. Unfortunately, my grades did go down until they were virtually non-existent!'
