Early-life:
Joe was born in Halifax on June 30, 1970. He moved to London when he attended the Drama Centre London. In 1992, he made his TV debut in an episode of Between the Lines.
Career:
Duttine has made a steady stream of guest appearances in a number of TV series over the years, including Lovejoy, The Buddha of Suburbia, Seaforth, A Touch of Frost, Dangerfield, Dalziel and Pascoe, Silent Witness, New Tricks, Life on Mars and Waterloo Road. For several months in 2010, he played detective Max Carr in Coronation Street. Three years later, he returned to the famous cobbles as a new character, Tim Metcalfe. His theatre credits include playing the lead in a touring version of The Elephant Man.
