Jane Seymour (Actor) .. Harry Wild
Born: February 15, 1951 in Hayes, Middlesex
Best Known For: Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.
Early-life: Born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg on February 15, 1951, in Hayes, Middlesex. She has two younger sisters and is the daughter of a British obstetrician and his Dutch wife. Due to her mother's nationality, Seymour is bilingual. She adopted her stage name at 17 when she became a professional dancer. While preparing for her second performance with the Kirov Ballet, she suffered a knee injury which forced her to give up her career.
Career: After switching to acting, Seymour's movie debut was in a small role in Oh! What a Lovely War in 1969. A year later she made her first TV appearance in Here Come the Double Deckers! Roles in TV series The Pathfinders, The Onedin Line and The Strauss Family made her a famous name in the UK, but it was Bond flick Live and Let Die in 1973 which turned her into a star. She's worked continuously on the small and big screens ever since in such projects as Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, Somewhere in Time, War and Remembrance, and the long-running Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman. She's also taken part in Dancing with the Stars and was last seen on the big screen in Love, Wedding, Marriage.
