Early-life:
Marsha Lisa Thomason was born in Manchester on January 19, 1976 to Phyllis and Peter. From the age of 13, Marsha attended Oldham Theatre Workshop, where she participated in a number of productions. After taking A Levels in Media Studies, Theatre Studies and Performing Arts, she studied English at Manchester Metropolitan University. She made her TV debut in an episode of the series Screenplay in 1993. A year later, she starred in her first film, Jimmy McGovern's Priest.
Career:
Roles followed for Thomason on TV in Prime Suspect 5: Errors of Judgement, Pie in the Sky, Where the Heart Is and Playing the Field. In 2003, she played Eddie Murphy's wife in the film The Haunted Mansion. From then on, she became a regular in US TV shows. She had recurring roles in Las Vegas, Lost, Easy Money, General Hospital and Make It or Break It. More recently, she starred in police drama White Collar. She returned to UK TV screens in 2015 in the ITV thriller Safe House.
