Early-life:
Born Richard Esterhuysen on May 2, 1957, in Mbabane, Swaziland. His mother left home when he was 11, leaving him and his brother Stuart to be raised by their father, the country's director of education. He attended school with Nelson Mandela's daughter. Grant knew from an early age he wanted to act after becoming infatuated with Barbra Streisand. He studied English and drama at university in Cape Town, South Africa, then settled in London, but struggled to make a name for himself.
Career:
Grant gained good reviews for a performance in short film Honest, Decent and True in 1985, alongside Gary Oldman and Arabella Weir. His big break came when Daniel Day-Lewis dropped out of Withnail and I, and Grant took his place. The film was a cult smash. Since then, he's appeared in various films and TV shows, including Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Age of Innocence, LA Story, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Gosford Park, and The Hound of the Baskervilles. His film diary, With Nails, was a best-seller, but a novel, By Design, was disappointing. In 2005, he made his directing debut with the critically acclaimed, semi-autobiographical Wah-Wah. His recent work includes roles in Colour Me Kubrick, Penelope, Cuckoo and The Iron Lady, in which he played Tory politician Michael Heseltine.

Michelle Visage

Being an American radio and TV personality.
Early-life:
Born Michelle Lynn Shupack in New Jersey on September 20, 1968 but better known as Michelle Visage. She went on to attend a performing arts high school in New Jersey and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan. In 1990, she successfully auditioned for a place in Seduction, an R&B and dance vocal trio. The group had a number of chart hits, including Two to Make It Right, before disbanding in 1991.
Career:
In 1996, Visage began her long association with RuPaul when she co-hosted The RuPaul Show. She went on to host a number of shows on VH1, including red carpet coverage of the 1998 Grammys and a Grease anniversary party in 2002. She teamed up again with RuPaul in 2011 when she was a judge on the reality series RuPaul's Drag Race. She has also worked with RuPaul on radio shows and on a podcast. In early 2015, she crossed the Pond to enter the Celebrity Big Brother House.

Early-life:
Alan Carr was born in Northampton on June 14, 1976. The son of former Northampton Town player and manager Graham Carr, he has a younger brother. Alan attended Weston Favell School before getting a job at a call centre. He was advised to go into comedy by a colleague who overheard his witty remarks about the people he had to speak to on the telephone. He took the leap and soon began attracting critical acclaim.
Career:
Carr made his TV debut as a guest on the ITV lunchtime show Today with Des and Mel. He came to true prominence on Channel 4's The Sunday Night Project with Justin Lee Collins. He makes regular guest appearances on panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and Never Mind The Buzzcocks and has featured as a panellist on Channel 4's annual Big Fat Quiz of the Year, a staple of the Christmas TV schedules. He has also fronted his own game show, Alan Carr's Celebrity Ding Dong, written his autobiography, and continues to perform stand-up. His Channel 4 show Chatty Man attracts some of the biggest names in showbiz and has been a staple of the Channel 4 schedule since 2009. He also presented a weekly programme on Radio 2 for three years, and fronted game show The Singer Takes It All. In 2016, he hosted Alan Carr's Happy Hour, which was a spin off of Chatty Man.
