Three couples in and around Cambridge compete for the cash prize of £1,000, with Fiona and Anthony kicking off proceedings with a 'carnival-style' dinner party. Everyone loves the chicken wings starter, but the spicy fish main proves too much for electrician Paul, and his wife Karen thinks that international couple Ari and Amanda seem a bit posh.
