Best Known For: Her 1960s heyday.
Early-life: Julie Frances Christie was born in Assam, India, on April 14, 1941. Her mother was an artist and childhood friend of Richard Burton; her father ran a tea plantation. She has a younger brother and another half-sibling. Her parents divorced when she was still young. She attended boarding school in East Sussex, but was expelled. She later became hooked on acting while playing the Dauphin in a production of St Joan. A stint at the Central School of Speech and Drama followed.
Career: Christie started out on stage, but her big break came with a lead role in seminal sci-fi series A for Andromeda. Two years later she became a major force in the film world thanks to a role in Billy Liar. She won an Oscar for 1965's Darling. Her other notable projects during the 1960s included Doctor Zhivago, Fahrenheit 451, and Far from the Madding Crowd. More hits followed in the 1970s, such as McCabe and Mrs Miller, Don't Look Now, The Go-Between, Shampoo and Heaven Can Wait. Since then she's been Oscar nominated for Afterglow and Away from Her. Other major projects include Troy, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Finding Neverland and Red Riding Hood.

Greta Scacchi (Actor) .. Olivia
Born: February 18, 1960 in Milan
Best Known For: Taking her clothes off in numerous movies.
Early-life: Born Greta Gracco on February 18, 1960, in Milan, Italy, the daughter of an English dancer and an Italian artist. Moved to Britain aged four with her mother, only seeing her father during summer holidays. At 15 she emigrated to Australia, and now holds Italian and Australian passports - but not British, despite requesting one in the late 1970s. Returned to the UK at 18 and studied acting at the Old Vic, against her father's wishes. Also worked as a model.
Career: Started out on stage, making her TV debut in a 1981 episode of Bergerac. Her first film was 1982 German production Das Zweite Gesicht. Made an impact in Heat and Dust, following it up with TV appearances in Waterfront, The Ebony Tower and Camille. Went on to star in White Mischief, Defence Of The Realm and A Man In Love. Made it to Hollywood in 1990, with a role alongside Harrison Ford in Presumed Innocent. Won an Emmy for Rasputin in 1996. Starred in The Player, The Browning Version, Jefferson In Paris, Emma and Tom's Midnight Garden. More recently, she was seen in Jodie Foster thriller Flightplan and miniseries Broken Trail.

Born: March 27, 1935 in London
Best Known For: Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.
Early-life: Julian Wyatt Glover was born in London on March 27, 1935. His father was a radio producer, while his mother mixed in literary circles. The acting bug bit him early, and he began appearing regularly with the National Youth Theatre. On leaving school (classmates included Timothy West and Dave Prowse) he started his professional career, eventually spending time with the Royal Shakespeare Company before making his name on TV and in films.
Career: In 1960, Glover appeared in Androcles and the Lion and The Age of Kings, epic TV productions of classic works. His first movie was Tom Jones in 1963. Later in the decade he featured in numerous films and such classic TV shows as Z Cars, The Avengers, The Saint, Doctor Who and The Champions. Glover has rarely been out of work since. His most memorable parts have come in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, For Your Eyes Only and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. More recently he provided the voice of Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and has appeared in Waking the Dead, Trial and Retribution, and Game of Thrones.
Quote: 'Star Wars was not a very big part but I get more fan mail for that than anything else I've ever done. It comes in every day - unbelievable.'
Trivia: He was awarded a CBE in 2013.
