Career: Bernal gained worldwide attention after starring in the Oscar-nominated Amores Perros (2000). He went on to portray Che Guevara in both the 2002 miniseries Fidel and The Motorcycle Diaries (2004). In 2007, he directed his first film, Deficit. His movie credits also include Bad Education (2004), Babel (2005), The Science of Sleep (2006), Letters to Juliet (2010) and Even the Rain (2010).

Career: Sewell made his film debut in 1991's Twenty-One and first appeared in the West End a year later in the play Making it Better, winning numerous plaudits. Other stage credits include Translations, Macbeth, Luther and Tom Stoppard's acclaimed Arcadia. His role in TV's Middlemarch made him a heart-throb in 1994. Since then, he's made regular appearances on the small and big screens in such productions as Dark City (1998), Martha Meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence (1998), Cold Comfort Farm and A Knight's Tale (2001). More recently, he played Dr Jacob Hood in Eleventh Hour, Tom Builder in The Pillars of the Earth and the lead role in Zen.

Career: Shyamalan was still a student in New York when he made his first film, Praying with Anger (1992). It never received mainstream distribution. His second film, Wide Awake (1998), only received a limited release and only recouped $300 against a $6million budget. 1999 was a big breakthrough year for Shyamalan. He co-wrote the screenplay for the hugely popular Stuart Little (1999) and gained international recognition when he wrote and directed The Sixth Sense (1999), which was nominated for six Academy Awards and grossed more than $670million worldwide. Since then, Shyamalan has struggled to achieve critical praise for his films but they have all been financially successful. He has written and directed Unbreakable (2000), Signs (2002), The Village (2004), Lady in the Water (2006), The Happening (2008), The Last Airbender (2010) and After Earth (2013).
