Early-life: William John Neeson was born on June 7, 1952, in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. He made his acting debut at 11 in a school play. He was a good teenage amateur boxer, winning the Irish Youth Championship, but quit after blacking out following a fight. Neeson later enrolled at St Mary's Teaching College in Belfast, but became interested in acting on joining the Belfast Lyric Players' Theatre. He made ends meet with various odd jobs, including forklift operator, truck driver and assistant architect, before stardom beckoned.
Career: Neeson's professional debut was on stage in The Risen People. He was spotted in a play at Dublin's Abbey Theatre by director John Boorman, who cast him in movie Excalibur in 1981. He made a name for himself in Krull, A Woman of Substance, Ellis Island and The Mission. Other leading roles came in Suspect, The Dead Pool and The Big Man. However, he didn't become a major star until Schindler's List in 1993. Since then he's featured in Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace, Gangs of New York, Love Actually, Kinsey and the brilliant action film Taken. He was also seen in the big-screen version of The A Team and has several blockbusters in the pipeline.

Trivia: Dated a string of famous women, including Julia Roberts, Brooke Shields, Barbra Streisand, Sinead O'Connor and Helen Mirren. Married actress Natasha Richardson, mother of his sons Micheal and Daniel. She died in a skiing accident in 2009.

Early-life: Born Guy Edward Pearce on October 5, 1967, in Ely, Cambridgeshire. When Guy was three, he, his pilot father, teacher mother and older sister Tracey emigrated to Geelong, Australia. At school, Guy shunned maths and science in favour of music and the arts, and joined the local amateur dramatics society at the tender age of 11, appearing in plays including The Wizard of Oz. He also began bodybuilding, and won the title of Mr Junior Victoria in his mid-teens. After writing to several TV companies, Pearce won the part of Mike Young in Neighbours in 1985, days after his final high school exams.
Career: After three years in Ramsay Street, Pearce had a stint in Home and Away. During this time he also made several films, including Heaven Tonight, and Hunting, and later appeared in Snowy River: The McGregor Saga. But it was 1994's The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, that made Hollywood notice his acting talent, and lead roles in movies including the Oscar-winning LA Confidential (opposite fellow antipodean Russell Crowe) and critically acclaimed Memento followed. Other projects include The Count of Monte Cristo, Factory Girl, The Hurt Locker, The Road, The Proposition, The King's Speech and Iron Man 3.

Early-life: Monica Anna Maria Bellucci was born on September 30, 1964, in the Italian village of Città di Castello, Umbria. Bellucci originally pursued a career in the legal profession. While attending the University of Perugia, she modelled on the side to earn money for school, and this led to her modelling career. In 1988, she moved to one of Europe's fashion centres, Milan, and joined Elite Model Management. Although enjoying great success as a model, she made her acting debut on TV in 1990, and her American film debut in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992).
Career: Bellucci's role in the 1996 French thriller, L'appartement (1996), shot her to stardom as she won the French equivalent of an Oscar nomination. She came to the attention of casting directors the world over and roles in major blockbusters soon followed, though she proved her commitment to taking roles that intrigued her with the controversial and thoroughly brutal Irreversible in 2002. Early-life: George Raymond Stevenson was born on a British army base in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, on May 25, 1964. His family moved to Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne when he was eight and later to Cramlington, Northumberland. Ray's first love was art and he spent time working as an interior designer with an architectural firm in London. At the age of 25, he pursued acting and ended up graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School at the age of 29.
Career: Stevenson's first break as an actor was a recurring role on TV drama Band of Gold. He went on to make guest appearances in number of programmes, including Peak Practice, Holby City, The Bill, Dalziel and Pascoe, Red Cap, Murphy's Law and Waking the Dead. He had a recurring role on At Home with the Braithwaites but he is best known for playing Titus Pullo in historical TV drama Rome. On the big screen, he has starred in Outpost (2008), The Book of Eli (2010), The Other Guys (2010), The Three Musketeers (2011), Thor (2011), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Divergent (2014). In 2012, he had a recurring role in the seventh season of Dexter.
