Mark Wahlberg (Actor) .. Stuart Long
Born: June 05, 1971 in Boston, Massachusetts
Best Known For: Going from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch to Hollywood blockbusters.
Early-life: Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was born on June 5, 1971, in Boston, Massachusetts. The youngest of nine children, his mother was a bank clerk and his father a delivery driver. He didn't graduate from high school. He had a troubled youth, but at 13 was in the original line-up of the New Kids on the Block. He quit due to their squeaky-clean image, but achieved his own chart success with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. In the early 1990s, he modelled underwear for Calvin Klein and made a workout video.
Career: Wahlberg's film career kicked off in 1993 with TV movie The Substitute. A year later he made his big-screen debut in flop comedy Renaissance Man. Impressive turns in The Basketball Diaries and Fear made critics realise he was more than just another pop star-turned-actor. It was 1997 drama Boogie Nights that made his name as an actor. By 2000 he was a Hollywood hot property with roles in Three Kings and The Perfect Storm. Although a revamp of Planet of the Apes divided critics, Wahlberg delivered fine turns in The Italian Job remake, Four Brothers, I Heart Huckabees, The Departed and The Fighter. He is also a respected producer, with credits on Entourage, In Treatment, Boardwalk Empire, and How to Make It In America.
Quote: 'I've always looked at my career as an athlete would look at his. I won't play forever. Some don't know when to walk away, but the smart ones do.'
Trivia: Has stated his performance as Max Payne in Max Payne (2008) as his favorite role.
Mel Gibson (Actor) .. Bill Long
Born: January 03, 1956 in New York
Best Known For: Being one of the biggest movie stars of all time.
Early-life: Mel Colm-cille Gerard Gibson was born on January 3, 1956, in the New York suburb of Peekskill. He is the sixth of 11 children. The family relocated to Australia when Mel was 12. He went to drama school after one of his older sisters sent in his application and fee without him knowing. He studied alongside fellow future stars Geoffrey Rush and Judy Davis and started out in low-budget movies like Summer City and Tim, before becoming a worldwide star in Mad Max.
Career: The US success of Mad Max 2 led to Gibson being offered mainstream Hollywood roles, including The Bounty, Mrs Soffel, and The River, before Lethal Weapon turned him into an A-list star in 1987. His directorial debut was 1993's The Man Without a Face, and his follow-up in front and behind the camera, Braveheart, won several Oscars. His company, Icon, has backed a string of hit-and-miss movies in recent years, including Kevin and Perry Go Large, and What Women Want. Gibson has also starred in Signs, and The Patriot, and wrote and directed controversial drama The Passion of the Christ, which Gibson himself funded. After taking a break from acting, he returned with Edge of Darkness and The Beaver.
Quote: 'I'm not a done deal. I'm a work in progress. I'm still extremely flawed.'
Trivia: He was the first Australian actor to be paid $1,000,000 for a film role.

He moved to Liverpool when he was three and also spent time in Bridlington, where his parents owned a pub; his father also spent time in the RAF. He later studied at the London Academy of Music and Art, then made ends meet as a waiter and salesman before landing acting roles.
Career: After changing his name to McDowell (his mother's maiden name) to avoid clashing with another actor called Malcolm Taylor, he started out in the theatre, before making his TV debut in Crossroads. His first film was 1967's Poor Cow, but his scenes were cut from the completed movie. McDowell's breakthrough was If... in 1968. Directed by Lindsay Anderson, it was followed by two more movies featuring McDowell's character of Mick Travis - O Lucky Man! and Britannia Hospital. Other projects include Our Friends in the North, Gangster No. 1, Hidalgo, Franklin & Bash, The Mentalist and the remakes of Halloween and its sequel.
