Born: February 28, 1947 in Casablanca, Morocco
Best Known For: Playing Sable in The Colbys and Dynasty.
Early-life: Born on February 28, 1947, in Barnet, Hertfordshire. Her mother was a housewife, her father was an insurance executive. She is completely deaf in one ear and has only 75 per cent hearing in the other. Beacham was educated in London at St Michael's Convent, Finchley, and Queen Elizabeth Girls' School in Barnet, after which she became an au pair in Paris to pay for her training at the famous Etienne de Creux Mime School in 1964. On returning to the UK she spent three years at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Rada).
Career: After a number of appearances in various TV shows such as The Saint, Armchair Theatre, and Callan, Beacham's first major film role was opposite Marlon Brando in 1971's The Nightcomers. She was subsequently cast alongside Peter Cushing in Dracula AD 1972. It was acclaimed series Tenko in the 1980s that made her name and introduced her to American audiences. In 1985, she starred in the glossy soap operas Dynasty and The Colbys. She also gained a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a TV series for Sister Kate. Other notable projects include Connie, SeaQuest DSV, To Be the Best, Secrets, Relative Values, Bad Girls, Trollied and Mount Pleasant. She took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2007, featured in Coronation Street for five months in 2009, and appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2010.

Best Known For: Tenko, Waiting for God and Doc Martin.
Early-life: Patricia Stephanie Cole was born in Solihull on October 5, 1941. She landed a place at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school when she was 15 and made her stage debut at the age of 17, playing a 90-year-old woman in Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit (at the age of 63, she played the same role when the play was revived at the Savoy Theatre in 2004).
Career: Cole made her TV debut in an episode of Z Cars in 1968. She went on to make guest appearances in several TV shows but her big break didn't come until she was cast as Dr Beatrice Mason in Tenko in 1981. She played the kindly doctor for three series and a one-off special. Other notable roles include Mrs Featherstone in Open All Hours, Betty Sillitoe in A Bit of a Do, Diana Trent in Waiting for God and Joan Norton in Doc Martin. More recently, she played Sylvia Goodwin in Coronation Street and revived the role of Mrs Featherstone in Still Open All Hours.

Trivia: In 2012, Cole won a British Soap Award for Best Comedy Performance for her role in Coronation Street. She was awarded an OBE in 2005.
Louise Jameson (Actor) .. Blanche Simmons
Born: April 20, 1951 in London
Best Known For: EastEnders, Doctor Who, Bergerac and Tenko.
Early-life: Louise was born in London on April 20, 1951. She trained at Rada and went on to spend two years with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Early TV credits included Z Cars, Emmerdale and Space: 1999 but her big break came in 1977 when she was cast as Leela, the leather-clad barbarian warrior companion of the fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) in Doctor Who.
Career: In the early 1980s, Jameson had a lead role in the first two series of popular BBC drama Tenko. She went on star in Bergerac as Jim Bergerac's girlfriend for five years. In 1998 she began an association with EastEnders that ran to more than 200 episodes as Rosa di Marco. More recently she has appeared in River City, Doc Martin, Doctors and Holby City. When she is not gracing the small screen, she can usually be found on the stage.
Quote: 'When I was Leela I was surprised I became a sex symbol. I thought Doctor Who was just a children's show.'
Trivia: In 2007, Jameson toured her one-woman show, Face Value.
