Career: Clarke made his TV debut in the late 1960s, and went on to appear in episodes of Coronation Street, The Avengers, Callan, and The Virgin Soldiers before getting his big break with a prominent role in the controversial A Clockwork Orange in 1971. A variety of TV and movie work followed, including Shelley, SOS Titanic, Ishtar (alongside his namesake, Beatty) and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. High-profile roles later came in The Manageress, ID, The Mystery of Men, The Deputy, and Down to Earth. He became a household name thanks to a starring role in Dalziel & Pascoe, which first aired in 1996. He also appeared in Bleak House, Christmas at the Riviera, The Invisibles, Red Riding, Just William, and In with the Flynns. He died peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2014 at the age of 67.

Career: Imrie's first professional jobs in showbusiness were in the chorus of various pantomimes. Her film and TV debuts came in 1974 in House of Whipcord and Upstairs, Downstairs. She continued to gain small roles in various productions, but her big break occurred when Victoria Wood offered her roles in As Seen on TV in 1985. Since then, she's continued to occasionally work with Wood and won a prestigious Olivier Award in 2006 for her role in Acorn Antiques: The Musical. Her other credits include Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, Highlander, Gormenghast, Bridget Jones' Diary, Star Wars: Episode One, Doctor Zhivago, Frankenstein, Calendar Girls, Nanny McPhee and St Trinian's (and its sequel). Career: Haywood's TV career extends back to the 1980s, starting with a guest appearance in Brush Strokes. She later appeared in The One Game as Jenny Thorne. From 1991 to 1997, she played Helen Brittas in comedy series The Brittas Empire. She also voiced Mrs Kitchen in children's TV series Budgie the Little Helicopter from 1994 until 1996. Haywood then landed guest roles in such shows as Jonathan Creek, Goodnight Sweetheart, Holby City and My Family. She also had roles in Dalziel and Pascoe, Green Wing and Fear, Stress and Anger. Her film credits include If Only (2004), Tamara Drewe (2010) and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016). She also starred in BBC drama series Prisoners' Wives. Her recent TV credits include Scott & Bailey, Brief Encounters, Midsomer Murders and Loaded.
