Early-life:
Born Yewande Osho on January 27, 1973 in London. Andi attended Sarah Bonnell Comprehensive School before studying drama at Barking College of Technology and, later, TV production at Ravensbourne College of Design. She started out working in TV production before turning to acting and retraining at The Academy Drama School. Later, she decided to go into stand-up comedy. For a number of years, Osho worked as a receptionist during the day, while working on her stand-up routine in the evenings.
Career:
Osho made her TV debut on EastEnders and then went on to act in such shows as Waking the Dead, Doctors and Casualty. In 2007, she won a string of awards for her stand-up comedy, which helped her launch her TV career. She appeared on a number of panel shows, such as Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and has performed on Live at the Apollo and Stand Up for the Week. Osho's first feature film appearance was in Swinging with the Finkels (2011). In 2011, she took part in Let's Dance for Comic Relief. The next year, she appeared in three episodes of Holby City. She won two episodes of Celebrity Mastermind; one in 2011 and the other in 2012. Osho has presented Supershoppers alongside Anna Richardson since 2016.
