Warren Clarke (Actor) .. Det Supt Andy Dalziel
Born: April 26, 1947 in Oldham
Best Known For: Dalziel & Pascoe (he played Dalziel).
Early-life: Born Alan Clarke on April 26, 1947, in Oldham, where his father's job involved putting stained glass in church windows. He left school at 15 and became a runner at the Manchester Evening News while doing amateur dramatics in his spare time. He changed his first name to Warren because a girlfriend admired Warren Beatty. After realising he wanted to act, he got his first break in a radio play for BBC Manchester.
Career: Clarke made his TV debut in the late 1960s, and went on to appear in episodes of Coronation Street, The Avengers, Callan, and The Virgin Soldiers before getting his big break with a prominent role in the controversial A Clockwork Orange in 1971. A variety of TV and movie work followed, including Shelley, SOS Titanic, Ishtar (alongside his namesake, Beatty) and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. High-profile roles later came in The Manageress, ID, The Mystery of Men, The Deputy, and Down to Earth. He became a household name thanks to a starring role in Dalziel & Pascoe, which first aired in 1996. He also appeared in Bleak House, Christmas at the Riviera, The Invisibles, Red Riding, Just William, and In with the Flynns. He died peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2014 at the age of 67.

Born: September 17, 1962 in Bow, London
Best Known For: Playing EastEnder David Wicks and Casualty's Dr Jordan.
Early-life: Born Michael Clark on September 17, 1962, to parents David and Sheila. He's the son of a greengrocer and has two sisters - Helen and Jane. He was interested in the stage from an early age and was a keen member of a local drama club. He later trained at the Mountview Theatre School, and was a 'blue coat' entertainer at the Holiday Club International in Majorca.
Career: Michael spent 10 years appearing on stage and working as an air steward before his big break came in 1993 when he landed the part of David Wicks in EastEnders. He stayed in Walford for three years before leaving to appear in Crime Traveller (he returned briefly in 2012 to mark the death of his on-screen mother, Pat Evans). More TV roles followed in The Gentleman Thief, Born and Bred, and The Fabulous Bagel Boys. He also featured in radio plays and did video game voiceover work. Between 1998 and 2013 he had various stints playing Dr Nick Jordan in Casualty and sister programme Holby City. He returned briefly to EastEnders in 2012 to mark the death of his on-screen mother, Pat Evans. He rejoined EastEnders as a regular character in September 2013.

Louise Delamere (Actor) .. Tracey Baxter
Born: July 22, 1969 in Wallasey, Merseyside
Best Known For: No Angels and Holby City.
Early-life: Louise Alexandra Delamere was born in Wallasey, Merseyside, on July 22, 1969. She went on to attend Glasgow's Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. As a student, she shared a flat with former Doctor Who David Tennant.
Career: Delamere made her TV debut in an episode of Peak Practice in 1994 and a year later, she starred on the big screen in Mad Dogs and Englishmen and Judge Dredd. After a number of guest appearances in the likes of Pie in the Sky, Game On, Beast and Linda Green, Delamere landed a recurring role on Channel 4 drama No Angels. More recently, she has starred in Doc Martin, Scott & Bailey, Inspector George Gently, Waterloo Road and The Bible. In 2013, she joined the cast of Holby City, playing Colette Sheward.

Early-life: Bhasker was born in Kampala, Uganda, on February 7, 1956. He attended two drama schools but dropped out of both when he landed professional acting roles. He made his TV debut in 1981 BBC Play for Today drama The Garland.
Career: As a highly successful jobbing actor, his acting CV is bursting with guest appearances in a number of TV shows, including Crown Court, Boon, Between the Lines, Birds of a Feather, Only Fools and Horses, My Family, The Last Detective and Doctor Who. His film credits include Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), My Beautiful Launderette (1985), Being Human (1994) and Kidulthood (2006). Since 2011, he has played Rishi Sharma in Emmerdale.

Trivia: In-between acting work, Patel has worked as a teaching assistant.
