Eric McCormack (Actor) .. Will Truman
Born: April 18, 1963 in Toronto, Canada
Best Known For: Playing gay lawyer Will Truman in Will & Grace.
Early-life: Born April 18, 1963 in Toronto, Canada, but raised in Calgary. Little is known about his early life owing to his preference for privacy, although he admits he decided to become an actor while at high school. He was encouraged to turn professional by his parents, particularly his father who was a keen amateur thespian. He studied for three years at the prestigious Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto, but left after being offered an apprenticeship with Canada's Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where he worked for five seasons.
Career: McCormack began landing lead roles in such plays as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Henry V and Three Sisters. He moved into TV and films during a spell in Vancouver. His big break came in 1991 with parts in Lonesome Dove: The Series and movie The Lost World. Several small TV roles followed, as well as cameos in Ally McBeal and Veronica's Closet. In 1998, he accepted one of the lead roles in Will & Grace, picking up an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for the part in 2001.

Debra Messing (Actor) .. Grace Adler
Born: August 15, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York
Best Known For: Will & Grace.
Early-life: Debra Lynn Messing was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 15, 1968, but was raised in Providence, Rhode Island. She enjoyed singing and dancing from an early age, and took part in performing-arts camps in her teens. She always wanted to act. She gained a theatre-arts degree from Brandeis University and spent six months studying in England. She later enrolled on New York University's elite Graduate Acting Programme and earned a Master's degree.
Career: Messing appeared in various stage productions before landing a role in NYPD Blue in 1994. A year later, she made her movie debut alongside Keanu Reeves in A Walk in the Clouds and starred in short-lived sitcom Ned and Stacy. Sci-fi drama Prey failed to get her noticed, but she hit the big time in 1998 when she landed a lead role in sitcom Will & Grace. She won an Emmy in 2003 for her portrayal of Grace. Messing has also starred on the big screen in The Mothman Prophecies, Hollywood Ending and Along Came Polly. Megan Mullally (Actor) .. Karen Walker
Born: November 12, 1958 in Los Angeles
Best Known For: Will & Grace.
Early-life: Megan Mullally was born on November 12, 1958, in Los Angeles. She's an only child. Her mother is a former model, while her father was a bit-part player at Paramount Studios during the 1950s. She wanted to be an actress from an early age, and eventually enrolled at Northwestern University. Mullally switched courses to concentrate on English Literature, but continued to appear in college plays. Starring roles in various musicals gained attention from producers, so she dropped out in the hope of turning professional.
Career: Despite moving back to LA in 1985, Mullally's efforts to hit the big time came to nothing. Instead, she made ends meet appearing in small roles in such films as About Last Night and Risky Business, and TV series Murder, She Wrote and China Beach. Regular parts in The Ellen Burstyn Show and My Life and Times also failed to make her a star. In 1994 she appeared in an acclaimed stage version of Grease. From then, Mullally began getting better roles and, in 1998, became a household name thanks to Will & Grace. After Will & Grace ended in 2006, she hosted a short-lived talk show. Since then, she has popped up in various shows, including 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, and Childrens Hospital. Away from acting, she is the member of the band Supreme Music Program.
