Early-life: Born James Joseph Parsons on March 24, 1973 in Houston, Texas. Jim was determined to become an actor from the age of six, after performing as the Kola-Kola bird in a school production of The Elephant's Child. After graduating from high school, he studied for a bachelor's degree at the University of Houston. He was accepted onto a two-year course in classical theatre at the University of San Diego in 1999 and, after graduating in 2001, he moved to New York.
Career: Early in his career, Parsons worked on Off-Broadway productions and appeared on TV several times. He had a recurring role on Judging Amy, appeared on the TV series Ed and had minor roles in such films as Garden State (2004) and School for Scoundrels (2006). His big break came when he landed the role of Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, a role that earned him four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical. He went on to appear in the films The Big Year (2011), The Muppets (2011), Home (2015) and Hidden Figures (2016).

Best Known For: The Man with Two Brains, Roxanne, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Early-life: Born Stephen Glenn Martin on August 14, 1945, in Waco, Texas, but was raised in Inglewood, California. His father was an estate agent and aspiring actor. While still in high school he worked in a magic shop at Disneyland, and did stand-up routines at local club Knott's Berry Farm. He also became an accomplished banjo player. Steve began writing and performing comedy with a girlfriend, but when they split up, concentrated on studying philosophy at university; he later switched to theatre before dropping out altogether.
Career: Martin began writing for various shows in the 1960s, and won an Emmy for his work on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. His stand-up career took off in the 1970s, with best-selling albums and hit tours, but he gave it up in 1982 to concentrate on movies. His first big film hit was 1979's The Jerk, which he followed with The Man with Two Brains, Roxanne, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, LA Story, Parenthood, Father of the Bride and Bowfinger. Away from films, Steve has written a number of books, including a memoir, Born Standing Up, and the novella Shopgirl. He collaborated on an album with Edie Brickell that was released in 2013. Martin also regularly plays banjo alongside various artists.

Jennifer Lopez (Actor) .. Lucy

Best Known For: Her acting and singing careers - not to mention her curvaceous figure.
Early-life: Born on July 24, 1969, in The Bronx, New York. Her parents are from Puerto Rico. Her mother was a teacher, her father was a computer expert. She is the middle of three sisters. The eldest, Leslie, is an opera-singing housewife, the youngest, Lynda, is a TV presenter. Lopez took singing and dancing lessons from the age of five. After finishing high school, she worked in a lawyer's office while trying to get her show business career off the ground.
Career: Lopez had small roles in films My Little Girl and Lambada before her big break came with a two-year stint in TV comedy series In Living Color. She toured as a dancer with Janet Jackson and appeared in several other TV shows. She then starred on the big screen in My Family, Money Train, Jack, and Blood and Wine. Playing the title role in 1997's Selena proved Lopez was more than just a pretty face, while Out of Sight and The Wedding Planner turned her into box-office gold. Movies since include Maid in Manhattan, Monster-in-Law and the much-maligned Gigli. After a three-year break from movies, she returned in 2010 romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan. She has been a judge on several American Idol series and is a hugely successful recording artist with numerous hit albums, singles and tours to her name.
