Early-life:
Born on April 28, 1973, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a member of his high school wrestling team. His first starring role was as a villain in his school's seventh-grade musical production, which fired his ambition to become an actor. After college he joined the Beverly Hills Playhouse and has worked steadily ever since
Career:
Garcia is a multi-talented star. He's appeared in musicals Fiddler On The Roof and Guys and Dolls and on the big screen in The Good Humour Man and Little Athens. He originally came to prominence with his performance as Hector Lopez on the show Becker. Of Chilean descent, he was the first to be cast in Lost, even though he originally for the part of Sawyer. Garcia performs both as a musician and stand-up comedian, with slots at the Laugh Factory and Comedy Store in Los Angeles to his credit. His recent TV work includes Hawaii Five-0.
