Early-life:
Born David Patrick Boreanaz on May 16, 1969, in Buffalo, New York. He is the son of former Philadelphia weatherman Dave Roberts and mother Patti. Boreanaz graduated from Ithaca College in New York, where he acted and studied film. He then moved to Los Angeles to try to break into show business. He has two sisters, Beth and Bo.
Career:
Boreanaz was walking his dog in a park when he got spotted by a Hollywood talent manager. After three auditions, Boreanaz landed the role of Angel, a sensitive, tortured vampire who was cursed with a conscience. Not content with charming the beautiful Sarah Michelle Gellar on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel went on to woo legions of fans on both sides of the pond in his own series, imaginatively named Angel. Boreanaz followed up his success in Angel with another leading role in 2005 when he began starring alongside Emily Deschanel in crime drama Bones.
