Early-life: Born Charlotte Elouise Dimmock on August 10, 1966, in Romsey, Hampshire. She grew up in a village in the New Forest, where she accompanied her grandfather on his rounds as the village gardener. Her father was a merchant seaman. Since then she's hosted Charlie's Wildlife Gardens and spread her wings with Cheer for Charlie, a show in which she was challenged to tackle unusual tasks. She even took America by storm after appearing on breakfast TV gardening slots, and hosting Ground Force America. She has also featured on Celebrity MasterChef and Comic Relief Does Car Booty.
