Early-life:
Born in Marylebone, central London, on April 5, 1946. Her father, Dr Richard Asher, was the first psychiatrist to identify Munchausen syndrome. Her mother Margaret taught at the Guildhall School of Drama and Music and counted Beatles producer George Martin among her pupils. Her brother Peter was a member of 1960s band Peter and Gordon, her sister Claire also dabbled in acting before becoming a teacher. She's a descendant of Richard III and is also distantly related to Alfred, Lord Tennyson.
Career:
Asher made her film debut aged five in the film Mandy. By the age of 15 she had featured in eight movies, nine TV shows and numerous radio plays. She gained more grown-up roles during the 1960s in productions such as The Masque of the Red Death, Alfie and The Mill on the Floss. She also appeared in several episodes of The Saint, required a body double for the nude scenes in Deep End, was frightened to death in cult horror The Stone Tape, and starred in both Brideshead Revisited and the revamped Crossroads. She's also made various stage appearances.

Away from acting she has a cake-making business, has written three novels and is President of the National Autistic Society and the Parkinson's Disease Society.

Early-life:
Julian Wyatt Glover was born in London on March 27, 1935. His father was a radio producer, while his mother mixed in literary circles. The acting bug bit him early, and he began appearing regularly with the National Youth Theatre. On leaving school (classmates included Timothy West and Dave Prowse) he started his professional career, eventually spending time with the Royal Shakespeare Company before making his name on TV and in films.
Career:
In 1960, Glover appeared in Androcles and the Lion and The Age of Kings, epic TV productions of classic works. His first movie was Tom Jones in 1963. Later in the decade he featured in numerous films and such classic TV shows as Z Cars, The Avengers, The Saint, Doctor Who and The Champions. Glover has rarely been out of work since. His most memorable parts have come in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, For Your Eyes Only and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. More recently he provided the voice of Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and has appeared in Waking the Dead, Trial and Retribution, and Game of Thrones.

Early-life:
Jeremy Philip Northam was born in Cambridge on December 1, 1961 to Rachel and John, both university professors. The third of four children, Jeremy graduated from Bedford College, University of London, in 1984 and went on to attend Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He landed his first TV role in 1987, a remake of Hitchcock's Suspicion, and followed it up with a string of roles in dramas such as the TV series Wish Me Luck and the film Carrington (1995).
Career:
In 1990, Northam's profile was boosted when he was awarded the Olivier Award for Best Newcomer, thanks to his performance in stage play The Voysey Inheritance. Five years later, he got a part in the Sandra Bullock vehicle The Net, before donning period costume to play opposite Gwyneth Paltrow in the 1996 adaptation of Emma. Since then, Northam has gone on to impress critics and audiences alike with roles in Amistad (1997), Happy, Texas (1999), Enigma (2001), Gosford Park (2001), Possession (2002) and Cypher (2002). More recently, he played Sir Thomas More in historical TV drama The Tudors and starred in the BBC drama White Heat. He also had a part in short-lived American drama Miami Medical.
