Early-life: Mel Colm-cille Gerard Gibson was born on January 3, 1956, in the New York suburb of Peekskill. He is the sixth of 11 children. The family relocated to Australia when Mel was 12. He went to drama school after one of his older sisters sent in his application and fee without him knowing. He studied alongside fellow future stars Geoffrey Rush and Judy Davis and started out in low-budget movies like Summer City and Tim, before becoming a worldwide star in Mad Max.
Career: The US success of Mad Max 2 led to Gibson being offered mainstream Hollywood roles, including The Bounty, Mrs Soffel, and The River, before Lethal Weapon turned him into an A-list star in 1987. His directorial debut was 1993's The Man Without a Face, and his follow-up in front and behind the camera, Braveheart, won several Oscars. His company, Icon, has backed a string of hit-and-miss movies in recent years, including Kevin and Perry Go Large, and What Women Want. Gibson has also starred in Signs, and The Patriot, and wrote and directed controversial drama The Passion of the Christ, which Gibson himself funded. After taking a break from acting, he returned with Edge of Darkness and The Beaver.

Early-life: Mayte Michelle Rodriguez was born July 12, 1978, in Texas to Rafael Rodríguez and Carmen Milady Pared. At the age of eight, she and her family left the Lone Star state and moved to the Dominican Republic, later relocating to Puerto Rico. At 11, they settled in New Jersey. Like many kids, she longed to be famous and dropped out of school at 17 to pursue her showbiz dreams.
Career: Rodriguez appeared as an extra in the films Summer of Sam and Cradle Will Rock. She went to a New York casting call for the movie Girlfight, and landed the lead role. It brought her to the attention of leading casting agents, and before long she was snapped up for the projects 3AM, The Fast and the Furious, Resident Evil, Blue Crush and SWAT. Early-life: Amber Laura Heard was born in Austin, Texas on April 22, 1986 to David and Paige. Amber moved to New York when she was 17 to pursue a career in modelling. She then relocated to Los Angeles to try her luck at acting.
Career: Heard made her acting debut in the pilot episode of teen drama Jack & Bobby and went on to make guest appearances in a number of programmes, including The Mountain, The OC, Criminal Minds and Californication. She made her movie debut in Friday Night Lights (2004). Roles on the big screen followed in Side FX (2005), Drop Dead Sexy (2005) and North Country (2005). In 2006, she was cast in the title role in horror flick All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. More recently, she has appeared in bigger budget Hollywood movies such as Drive Angry (2011), The Rum Diary (2011), Paranoia (2013) and Machete Kills (2013). Early-life: Born Carlos Irwin Estévez on September 3, 1965, in New York. He almost died due to birth complications - his middle name is that of the doctor who saved him. He's one of Martin Sheen and his artist wife Janet Templeton's four children - all of whom have become actors. As a child, Charlie fought constantly with his older sibling Emilio, and was a gifted student until he began skipping school to play baseball.
Career: Sheen's screen debut came in 1974's The Execution of Private Slovik. Despite dreaming of a baseball career, he began acting professionally in the mid-1980s. He appeared in Red Dawn, Lucas and Ferris Bueller's Day Off before Platoon made him a star in 1986. He followed it up with Wall Street, Young Guns, Eight Men Out, Major League and two Hot Shots! movies. Sheen's career suffered as a result of his drug abuse during the 1990s, but he returned to form with appearances in Being John Malkovich, Spin City, Two and a Half Men and Anger Management.

Early-life: Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara was born on July 10, 1972, in Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia. Her mother is a housewife and her father produced cattle for the meat industry. She was raised a devout Catholic in a well-off family, attending a private bilingual Spanish/English school.
Career: Vergara made her TV debut at the age of 17 in a Pepsi commercial that was widely broadcast in Latin America. When she was 20, she moved to Bogota, Colombia, where she worked as a runway model and co-hosted a travel series on the international Univision Spanish-language TV network. Early-life: Vanessa Anne Hudgens was born in Salinas, California, on December 14, 1988 to Gina and Gregory. She has a younger sister, Stella. From an early age, Vanessa performed in musical theatre in a number of local productions, including The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man and Cinderella. Her family moved to Los Angeles after she won a role in a TV commercial.
Career: Hudgens' first acting role was in an episode of the sitcom Still Standing. She made her movie debut in the drama Thirteen (2003). She went on to star in the big-screen version of Thunderbirds (2004), but her big break came a year later when she played Gabriella Montez in the Disney's hugely popular High School Musical (2005). Demian Bichir (Actor) .. Mendez

Best Known For: Playing Bob in The Hateful Eight.
Early-life: Demian Bichir Najera was born on August 1, 1963 in Torreon, Mexico to actor Alejandro Bichir and actress Maricruz Najera. He started his acting career in the theatre and became a member of the National Theater Company when we was 13, performing works by Shakespeare and Dostoyevsky, among others.
Career: Bichir's first film role was in Choices of the Heart (1983). Much of his early success was in Mexican TV and film and he earned a couple of high-profile awards during this time. His breakthrough in the United States came when he appeared in the TV film In the Time of the Butterflies (2001). Later, he played Fidel Castro in Che (2008) and played Esteban Reyes in seasons four to seven of the TV series Weeds. Bichir began to find more mainstream work after he played Carlos Galindo in A Better Life (2011). He then landed roles in such films as Savages (2012), The Heat (2013), Machete Kills (2013), The Hateful Eight (2015) and drama series The Bridge. He made his directorial debut in 2016, with the film Un Cuento de Circo & A Love Song. Since then, he has appeared in the films Lowriders (2016) and Alien: Covenant (2017).
