Early-life:
Vivica Anjanetta Fox was born on July 30, 1964 in South Bend, Indiana. She lived in Indianapolis before moving to California to attend Golden West College to study for an Associate Art degree in Social Sciences. While in California, she began her professional acting career on the soap opera Days of Our Lives.
Career:
Fox made her film debut in Oliver Stone's war drama Born on the Fourth of July (1989). She got her breakthrough in Independence Day (1996) playing Jasmine Dubrow, a role she reprised for Independence Day: Resurgence (2016). Fox later appeared in the films Soul Food (1997), City of Angels (2000) and in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill films as the assassin Vernita Green. She has also appeared in a number of TV shows, such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Law and Order, Alias and Missing.

Early-life:
Born Gitte Nielsen on July 15, 1963, in Rodovre, Denmark. After gaining her parents' permission, she dropped out of school at the age of 16 to concentrate on her modelling career, moving to Paris in the process. She also appeared on catwalks in Italy, where she was spotted by legendary film producer Dino de Laurentiis, who cast her in the title role of his adaptation of comic-book Red Sonja.
Career:
Nielsen's involvement with Stallone led her to be cast in his movies Rocky IV and Cobra. She followed those with Beverly Hills Cop II in 1987. Since then, her film career has been patchy at best, with roles in such lacklustre movies as 976-Evil 2: The Astral Factor, Chained Heat II, Galaxis and Snowboard Academy. Away from acting, she has hosted several TV series across Europe and released numerous dance records and performed duets with Euro rockers Falco and transvestite RuPaul. Away from acting, she has appeared on a number of reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother in 2005, alongside her former mother-in-law Jackie Stallone.
