Best Known For: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Early-life: Born September 12, 1972, in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, but later moved to Great Yarmouth. He played football at school, but a passion for swimming led to his success as a diver on the British National Diving Team. While training at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, he was spotted by a talent scout and became a model for the French Connection clothing company.
Career: While modelling, he met then-unknown film-maker Guy Ritchie, who cast him in his first film, 1998's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which put them both on the showbiz map. Statham went on to star in Ritchie's follow-up movie Snatch, and then started forging a career in Hollywood. Although John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars was a flop, he soon proved to be one of Britain's most reliable action stars, thanks to hits such as The One, The Transporter and its sequel; The Italian Job; Cellular; Chaos; Crank; War, and The Bank Job. He was among the action star dream line-up in The Expendables and its sequels, and has several more films in production.

Best Known For: Playing Max in Dark Angel
Early-life: Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, California, the daughter of a US Air Force worker. As a result, she moved around a lot as a youngster, living in Biloxi, Missouri and Del Rio, before eventually settling with her family in southern California. Decided she wanted to tread the boards at age five and began acting lessons at 12. Nine months later she was signed by an agent. Her brother, Joshua, also acts.
Career: Made her film debut in 1994's Camp Nowhere. Originally cast in a minor role, she was offered a bigger part when another actress dropped out, and the film gave her a chance to make her mark. Her part in children's TV series Flipper and The Secret World of Alex Mack won her fans, who also became hooked on Dark Angel when it first aired in the US in 2000. She became a sex symbol and was voted No 1 on Maxim's Hot 100 Babe List in 2001. Recently she starred on the big screen in Sin City and The Fantastic Four, as well as its follow-up.

Best Known For: The Men in Black movies and his Oscar-winning role in The Fugitive.
Early-life: Born in San Saba, Texas, on September 15, 1946. His father worked in the oil industry, his mother spent time as a police officer, teacher and beauty salon owner. They married and divorced twice. After graduating from high school, he attended Harvard College on a scholarship, where one of his room-mates was future American vice-president Al Gore. He was also a star American Football player for the university team.
Career: Jones landed an agent and a role in a Broadway production of A Patriot for Me just 10 days after graduating from Harvard in 1969. A year later he made his film debut in Love Story, based on Erich Segal's novel of the same name. Segal claimed he based the lead character of Oliver (played by Ryan O'Neal) on Jones and Gore. Jones then spent four years in soap opera One Life to Live. The film Coal Miner's Daughter made critics sit up and notice him in 1980. Acclaimed performances in Lonesome Dove, The Fugitive, JFK and Men in Black followed. Other well-received projects include No Country for Old Men, In the Valley of Elah (for which he received an Oscar nomination), Lincolm and The Homesman.

Michelle Yeoh (Actor) .. Mei
Born: August 06, 1962 in Ipoh, Malaysia
Best Known For: Playing James Bond's love interest in Tomorrow Never Dies.
Early-life: Yeoh Chu-Kheng was born on August 6, 1962 in Ipoh, Malaysia. She studied ballet from the age of four and later trained in London at the Royal Academy of Dance. She won a Miss Malaysia beauty pageant and a beauty contest in Melbourne, Australia. In 1984 she made a car commercial with Jackie Chan, and a year later she started making action films with Hong Kong company D&B Films, including In the Line of Duty, Butterfly and Sword and Twin Warriors. First billed as Michelle Khan, she later became Michelle Yeoh and became a prominent figure in many action epics, landing the title 'Queen of martial arts'.
Career: Yeoh came to prominence in the West thanks to 007 epic Tomorrow Never Dies. She went on to star in Ang Lee's Oscar winning martial arts drama Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (for which she was Bafta nominated), Memoirs of a Geisha, and also played an astronaut in Danny Boyle's sci-fi thriller Sunshine. Other big screen offerings include The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Babylon AD and she will be heard in 2011 in the Kung Fu Panda 2. She has also worked as a jury member at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival and is a supporter of Save China's Tigers project.
