Best Known For: Being an actress and singer.
Early-life: Selena Marie Gomez was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on July 22, 1992 to Ricardo and Amanda. Her parents divorced when she was five and she was raised by her mother. Selena was cast in her first role in 2002 when she appeared as the recurring character Gianna in 16 editions of children's TV series Barney & Friends.
Career: Gomez made her film debut with a cameo in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003). Bit parts followed in different movies and she made guest appearances in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana before landing the lead role on the Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place. The show was a big hit and ran for four seasons between 2007 and 2012. During her time on Wizards, Gomez invested more time into singing and released an album in 2009. Since then, she has combined recording and performing with her acting career. More recently, she has voiced a character in animated movie Hotel Transylvania (2012) and starred in box-office hit Spring Breakers (2012).

Best Known For: Arrow.
Early-life: Katherine Evelyn Anita Cassidy was born in Los Angeles on November 25, 1986 to actor/singer David Cassidy and Sherry Benedon. Katie tried to make her mark in the music industry when she was 15 with a recording of I Think I Love You, which had been a hit for her father's TV band the Partridge Family. A year later, she made her acting debut in an episode of TV drama The Division.
Career: Cassidy went on to make guest appearances in Listen Up! and New Girl. She had recurring roles in 7th Heaven, Sex, Love & Secrets, Supernatural, Harper's Island, Melrose Place and Gossip Girl. Her film credits include Taken (2008) and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). Since 2012, she has portrayed Laurel Lance in TV superhero drama Arrow.

Leighton Meester (Actor) .. Meg Kelly

Best Known For: Gossip Girl.
Early-life: Leighton Marissa Meester was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 9, 1986 to Constance and Douglas. She moved to New York with her mother at the age of 11 and soon began working as a model and appearing in TV commercials. Aged 14, she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles.
Career: Meester quickly landed guest roles on a number of TV shows, including Law & Order, Boston Public, Crossing Jordan and 7th Heaven. Her big break came in 2007 when she was cast in teen drama Gossip Girl as Blair Waldorf, a role she played in six seasons until 2012. Away from Gossip Girl, Meester had three roles in 2010 on the big screen in Date Night, Going the Distance and Country Strong.

Cory Monteith (Actor) .. Owen Andrews
Born: May 11, 1982 in Calgary, Canada
Best Known For: His role as Finn Hudson on Glee.
Early-life: Cory Allan Michael Monteith was born in Calgary, Canada, on May 11, 1982. His parents divorced when he was seven and from the age of 13, he started using alcohol and marijuana and being truant from school. His mother and a group of friends staged an intervention when he was 19 and he began attending a rehabilitation programme.
Career: After taking an acting class, Monteith began auditioning for roles in Vancouver. He landed minor parts in the films Final Destination 3 (2006), Deck the Halls (2006) and Whisper (2007), and had recurring roles in TV sci-fi drama Kyle XY and MTV series Kaya. His big break came in 2009 when he was cast in Glee in a lead role that required him to dance and sing as well as act. He went on to star in 81 episodes. On July 13, 2013, he was found dead at the age of 31 in his room at a hotel in Vancouver. He died from a mixture of heroin and alcohol.

Early-life: Rosalie Anderson MacDowell was born in Gaffney, South Carolina on April 21, 1958. Her mother was a music teacher and her father was a lumber executive. In 1978, Andie dropped out of college, moved in with her sister Beverly and started waitressing in nightclubs. After helping to organise a fashion show at one of the nightspots, she was snapped up by Elite Model Management.
Career: MacDowell's modelling career took off in a big way, but it also led her to the movies. In 1984, she landed a role in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan (though her voice was dubbed by Glenn Close), and a year later gained a small role in the blockbuster St Elmo's Fire. It would be another four years before she gained widespread success, and it started with indie flick sex, lies and videotape (1989). Since then, she has gone on to establish a solid acting career, with films such as Green Card (1990), Groundhog Day (1993), Short Cuts (1993), Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and Multiplicity (1996). More recently she's appeared in The Six Wives of Henry Lefay (2009), The 5th Quarter (2009) and Footloose (2011). Since 2013, she has starred in American drama Cedar Cove.
