Early-life:
Daniel Leroy Baldwin was born in New York on October 5, 1960 to Carol and Alexander. He is the second eldest of four brothers, all of whom are actors (Alec, Billy and Stephen being the others). He also has two sisters. Daniel was a gifted high school football and basketball player. He made his acting debut in the 1988 TV movie Too Good to Be True. Roles followed in Born on the Fourth of July (1989), short-lived sitcom Sydney, and Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991).
Career:
Baldwin is perhaps best known for playing Detective Beau Felton in the first three seasons of Homicide: Life on the Street. In 2006, he allowed a current affairs show to follow his progress through drug rehabilitation. More recently, he wrote, directed and starred in the critically acclaimed The Wisdom to Know the Difference (2014). No stranger to reality shows, he has appeared in Celebrity Fit Club, Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew, and the American version of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! In August 2015, he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house as a contestant representing the USA.
