Career: In 2003, Wiig made her TV debut in The Joe Schmo Show, a spoof of reality TV. Her big break came in 2005 when she joined Saturday Night Live (SNL). She quit the show in 2012 although she has since returned as a host. During her time on SNL, she also appeared on the big screen in Knocked Up, Ghost Town, Adventureland, Date Night and Paul. Her movie breakthrough came in 2011 when she co-wrote and starred in the hugely popular Bridesmaids. She has also voiced characters in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, How to Train Your Dragon and its 2014 sequel, and the Despicable Me films in two different roles.

Career: Byrne was cast in her first film at the age of 13 in Dallas Doll (1994). She went on to star in a number of Australian TV series, including Heartbreak High and Echo Point. She won an award at the Venice Film Festival for her performance in The Goddess of 1967 (2000). Her first appearance in a Hollywood film was a small role in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002). Since then, she has starred in Troy (2004), Marie Antoinette (2006), Sunshine (2007), 28 Weeks Later (2007), Get Him to the Greek (2010), Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Bridesmaids (2011), X-Men: First Class (2011) and Neighbours (2014). Career: McCarthy made her TV debut in an episode of the sitcom Jenny, opposite her cousin Jenny McCarthy. Her first film appearance came in Go (1999). A year later, she was cast as Sookie St James in comedy drama Gilmore Girls. It ran for seven seasons until 2007. She later starred in the sitcoms Samantha Who? and Rita Rocks. Her big break came in 2010 when she was cast in a leading role in sitcom Mike & Molly. The following year, she received critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for her part in Bridesmaids (2011). Since then, McCarthy has continued to work on Mike & Molly and she has played lead roles in Identity Thief (2013), The Heat (2013) and Tammy (2014).

Career: Kemper's career started out with improv and sketch comedy performances, appearances on advertisements and guest appearances in various TV series. She landed the role of Erin Hannon in the American version of The Office in 2009 and stayed with the show until it ended in 2013. Kemper has had supporting roles in such films as 21 Jump Street (2012) and Bridesmaids (2011). She also plays the lead character in Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. As well as this, she has voiced characters in such animated films as The Secret Life of Pets (2016), The LEGO Batman Movie (2017) and Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017).

Career: O'Dowd made his TV and film debuts in 2003, in an episode of Red Cap and Conspiracy of Silence respectively. Other early roles came in Vera Drake, Festival, The Clinic and Showbands. Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd made him a star in the UK, while the movies The Boat That Rocked, Dinner for Schmucks and Bridesmaids raised his profile in the US. He then created, wrote and starred in the sitcom Moone Boy, which is loosely based on his own childhood. More recently he appeared in the films The Sapphires, This Is 40 and St Vincent.
