Early-life: Thomas Alan Smith Rosenthal was born in London on January 14, 1988, the son of TV producer Christine Smith and sports presenter Jim Rosenthal.
Career: In 2011, Rosenthal began starring in Channel 4 comedy Friday Night Dinner alongside Simon Bird. His other TV credits include Plebs, Breathless and Broadchurch. When he is not acting, he is performing stand-up.

Ryan Sampson (Actor) .. Grumio
Born: November 28, 1985 in Rotherham
Best Known For: Playing Grumio in the sitcom Plebs.
Early-life: Ryan Oliver Sampson was born in Rotherham on November 28, 1985. He attended Wales High School in Rotherham, where he appeared in school productions. He made his TV debut in 2003 in Wire in the Blood. Roles followed in the TV movie In Denial of Murder, Heartbeat and Holby City.
Career: Sampson's first break came in 2007 when he starred alongside Nicholas Lyndhurst, Celia Imrie and Dani Harmer in BBC sitcom After You're Gone. He has also made guest appearances in Doctor Who, Fresh Meat and Dates. He has had recurring roles in The Work Experience, Up the Women and Undercover. He is perhaps best known for playing Grumio in the ITV sitcom Plebs.

Early-life: Born on November 28, 1983 in Basildon, Essex. Ellie studied English Literature at the University of York.
Career: Taylor's TV appearances include episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats, Greatest Tweets 2011, Big Brother's Bit on the Side and Show Me the Funny. She began presenting BBC Three's Snog Marry Avoid? in 2012, taking over from Jenny Frost. Following this, she was a team leader on comedy panel show Fake Reaction and she appeared in an episode of Family Tree. In 2014, she appeared on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Now! and she has since appeared on Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo and The Nightly Show. Taylor also acted in such series as Brotherhood and The Lodge. Aside from her TV appearances, Taylor has also been building her live stand up career. She performed her debut stand up show, Elliementery, in 2014.

Best Known For: Playing Helen Brittas in The Brittas Empire.
Early-life: Philippa Haywood was born on May 6, 1961 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. She trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Career: Haywood's TV career extends back to the 1980s, starting with a guest appearance in Brush Strokes. She later appeared in The One Game as Jenny Thorne. From 1991 to 1997, she played Helen Brittas in comedy series The Brittas Empire. She also voiced Mrs Kitchen in children's TV series Budgie the Little Helicopter from 1994 until 1996. Haywood then landed guest roles in such shows as Jonathan Creek, Goodnight Sweetheart, Holby City and My Family. She also had roles in Dalziel and Pascoe, Green Wing and Fear, Stress and Anger. Her film credits include If Only (2004), Tamara Drewe (2010) and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016). She also starred in BBC drama series Prisoners' Wives. Her recent TV credits include Scott & Bailey, Brief Encounters, Midsomer Murders and Loaded.

Best Known For: Cold Feet and The Fast Show.
Early-life: Thomson was born Patrick Francis McAleer in Salford on April 2, 1969 to Mary McAleer, who gave him up for adoption six weeks later. He was adopted from the Catholic Children's Rescue Society by Andrew and Marita Thomson, a businessman and a bookseller from Didsbury. He attended Runshaw College between 1985 and 1987, studying for four A-levels, including theatre studies. He was described as 'clearly a talent for comedy'. Following this, he turned down a scholarship in America to study drama at Manchester Polytechnic.
Career: While at university, Thomson met Steve Coogan, who secured him a job on Spitting Image. They would continue to collaborate on such programmes as Coogan's Run , the Paul and Pauline Calf video diaries (where he played Fat Bob) and Knowing Me, Knowing You... with Alan Partridge, which he also contributed to writing. In 1994, Thomson appeared in the BBC sketch series The Fast Show. He made guest appearances on various series such as Soldier Soldier, Playing the Field and Men Behaving Badly in the 1990s before being cast as Pete Gifford in the ITV hit comedy drama Cold Feet. He participated in the BBC series Comic Relief does Fame Academy and chalked up several TV shows before starring in another TV series, New Street Law, about a Manchester chambers. He has since appeared in Kingdom and Coronation Street.
