Early-life: Daniel Wroughton Craig was born in Chester on March 2, 1968. His father is a former merchant seaman and pub landlord, his mother an art teacher. Daniel has an older sister, Lea, and knew from an early age he wanted to be an actor, but failed to get into drama school at 17. He spent time with the National Youth Theatre before being accepted by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Career: Craig started out on stage, eventually making his film debut in 1992's The Power of One. TV series Our Friends in the North and TV movie The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders made him a star in 1996. The movies Elizabeth (1998), Love is the Devil (1998), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Road to Perdition (2002), The Mother (2003), Sylvia (2003), Enduring Love (2004), Layer Cake (2004) and Munich (2005) followed. He was controversially cast in a five-film deal as James Bond, but proved doubters wrong with an outstanding performance in Casino Royale (2006). He's since followed it up with Quantum of Solace (2008) and Skyfall (2012). He's also appeared in Cowboys & Aliens (2011), and the US remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011).

Eva Green (Actor) .. Vesper Lynd
Born: July 05, 1980 in Paris
Best Known For: Playing Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale.
Early-life: Eva Gaelle Green was born in Paris on July 5, 1980 to actress Marlene Jobert and dentist Walter Green. She has a non-identical twin sister, Joy. Eva studied acting at St Paul Drama School in Paris and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and film direction at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. After returning to Paris, she appeared on stage in several productions.
Career: Green made her film debut in Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamers (2003). She followed this up with French crime-adventure Arsene Lupin (2004) and Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven (2005). Her big break came in 2006 when she played Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006). She teamed up again with Daniel Craig in The Golden Compass (2007). More recently, she has appeared in American TV drama Camelot and fantasy war film 300: Rise of an Empire (2014).

Mads Mikkelsen (Actor) .. Le Chiffre
Born: November 22, 1965 in Copenhagen
Best Known For: Playing Le Chiffre in Casino Royale (2008).
Early-life: Mads Dittmann Mikkelsen was born in Copenhagen on November 22, 1965 to Bente Christiansen and Henning Mikkelsen. His brother, Lars, is also an actor. When he was young, Mads trained as a gymnast before choosing to study dancing in Gothenburg. He was a professional dancer for nearly a decade before leaving to study drama at the Arhus Theatre School in 1996, with the ambition of becoming an actor.
Career: Mikkelsen's debut was in the Danish crime drama Pusher (1996). From there, he slowly grew to become one of the biggest film actors in Denmark, with his credits including Flickering Lights (2000) and Shake It (2001). He got more attention internationally when he played Tristan in King Arthur (2004) and achieved global recognition as the main antagonist, Le Chiffre, in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006). Since then, his roles have included Igor Stravinsky in the French film Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky (2008), Lucas in Danish film The Hunt (2012), Kaecilius in the Marvel film Doctor Strange (2016) and Galen Erso in the Star Wars film Rogue One (2016).

Judi Dench (Actor) .. M.

Best Known For: Her Bond film appearances.
Early-life: Judith Olivia Dench was born on December 9, 1934, in York, the daughter of a doctor and his Irish wife. She attended Mount School, a Quaker institution, alongside author AS Byatt. She made her stage debut there - as a snail. Originally intending to be an artist, the experience changed her mind. She was also inspired by backstage visits to York Theatre Royal, where her father was the company's GP. She followed older brother Jeffrey to the Central School Of Speech And Drama.
Career: Dench made her professional debut with the Old Vic Company before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1961, and has frequently worked on stage ever since. She became a household name in the 1980s thanks to sitcom A Fine Romance, for which she won a Bafta. She's also won the award for Four in the Morning, Talking to a Stranger, Iris, The Last of the Blonde Bombshells, Shakespeare In Love (for which she picked up an Oscar too), A Handful of Dust, Mrs Brown and A Room With a View. Other notable productions include Chocolat, Notes on a Scandal, J Edgar, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and its sequel, and several Bond movies, including Skyfall, in which she bowed out as M.

Jeffrey Wright (Actor) .. Felix Leiter
Born: December 07, 1965 in Washington DC
Best Known For: Being a star of stage, TV and film.
Early-life: Jeffrey was born in Washington, DC on December 7, 1965. His father died when he was a child. Jeffrey went on to earn a degree in political science and planned to attend law school before deciding to study acting instead. He made his film debut in Presumed Innocent (1990).
Career: Wright won a Tony Award for his role in Angels in America. He reprised the role several years later when HBO made a miniseries version of the play, for which he won an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Wright's film credits include The Manchurian Candidate (2004), Syriana (2005), Broken Flowers (2005), Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Source Code (2011), The Ides of March (2011) and The Hunger Games movies. He had a recurring role in Boardwalk Empire.

Trivia: Wright received an honorary degree from Amherst College in 2004.
