Career: After a stint presenting on The Weather Channel, she trained with the Met Office in 1998 for a weather presenting role at the BBC. Away from predicating if it will rain or shine, Kirkwood has been a reporter on The One Show and appeared on the panel show Would I Lie to You? In August 2015, it was announced that she would be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.

Career: In 1988, Don moved to Herefordshire with his wife and children, and when the jewellery business collapsed, turned to working in TV and journalism. He has on has appeared on programmes including This Morning, Holiday Programme, Tomorrow's World, Real Gardens, Fork to Fork, Lost Gardens and Don Roaming. He joined Gardeners' World in 2002, and became the show's first self-taught main presenter in 2003. An author and columnist, his books include My Roots, The Jewel Garden, The Complete Gardener, The Prickotty Bush, The Weekend Gardener, The Sensuous Garden, Gardening Mad, Urban Jungle and Fork to Fork. He suffered a minor stroke in 2008, and gave up Gardeners' World until 2011. He also presents More4's Monty Don's Real Craft.

Career: After seven years presenting The Really Wild Show, Chris set up his own TV company - Head Over Heels TV - where he made wildlife shows for ITV, Channel 4, Animal Planet, National Geographic and the BBC. More recently he has returned to his first love, working on and presenting TV shows, and can regularly be seen on BBC Two presenting Autumnwatch and Springwatch. He is active in many wildlife conservation bodies: he is vice-president of the RSPB, The Wildlife Trusts, and the Brent Lodge Bird & Wildlife Trust, and is a patron of Population Matters.

Career: Swift is a garden designer by trade and presents horticultural programmes on the BBC, notably Gardeners' World, Chelsea Flower Show and Tatton Park Flower Show. He has written about gardening in a number of national newspapers.

Career: Titchmarsh moved into editing gardening books, writing and broadcasting, and had a stint as a host on Pebble Mill at One on BBC One in the 1990s. He joined Gardeners' World as the main host in 1996 and Ground Force began a year later. After writing a number of horticultural books, he turned to writing novels. His first one, Only Dad, was published in 2001. More novels, gardening books and three biographies followed. He's also hosted the Proms, various series for Radio 2 and Classic FM and Love Your Garden. Despite retiring from The Alan Titchmarsh Show in 2014, he kept busy with writing and presenting commitments. TV shows he has presented since include Britain's Best Back Gardens, Masterpiece with Alan Titchmarsh and Love Your Home.

Career: She made her TV debut on Gardeners' World in 1989 and has since presented other gardening programmes such as Real Gardens and Open Gardens. Recent projects include Life in a Cottage Garden with Carol Klein which follows a year in the life of Carol's garden at Glebe Cottage in North Devon, and Grow Your Own Veg, which encouraged people to start growing their own vegetables. She is known for her cheerful presenting style and is hugely popular among gardeners.

Career: From 1995 until the end of 2000, Chapman was a joint partner in the Brilliant! PR Company, which represented the Spice Girls, Take That, Phil Collins, Billie Piper, David Bowie and Amy Winehouse. In January 2001, she joined Simon Fuller's management company 19 Entertainment as Creative Director. She began her TV career as a judge on Popstars, Pop Idol and Popstars: The Rivals. Pop Idol was the top rated TV show in the UK in 2001 and 2003. In recent years, Chapman has fronted a number of lifestyle programmes such as Holidays at Home, RHS Chelsea Flower Show, City Hospital, Wanted Down Under, and Escape to the Country. She has also deputised for various presenters on Radio 2.
