Peter Andre (Contestant)
Born: February 27, 1973 in Harrow, London
Best Known For: I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! and his own reality shows on ITV2.
Early-life: Born Peter Jay Andrea on February 27, 1973, in Harrow, London. His Greek-Cypriot parents moved their family to Australia's Gold Coast in 1979. He has four older brothers and a sister. He became interested in music at an early age, particularly the songs of Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, and Smokey Robinson. He wrote his first song, Dream a Little, at the age of 13 with one of his brothers and began entering local talent competitions.
Career: At 16, Andre auditioned for the Australian version of talent show New Faces. He was turned down, but returned 12 months later, won the series and was offered a recording contract live on air. He won various awards, before being offered the chance to tour Britain with Madonna and Bobby Brown. This led to him releasing singles in the UK. He went on to achieve his dream of appearing at Wembley Stadium. When the hits dried up, he concentrated on songwriting. Andre's appearance on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 brought him back to the nation's attention, and he's since relaunched his singing career. In August 2015, it was announced that he would be a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
Quote: 'I hate feet, they're disgusting. What are they even for?'
Trivia: Andre has appeared on a number of fly-on-the-wall reality shows since 2005, first with his then-wife Katie Price and then on his own after they separated.
Martin Kemp (Contestant)
Born: October 10, 1961 in Islington, London
Best Known For: Playing Steve Owen in EastEnders and being the bass guitarist in Spandau Ballet.
Early-life: Martin John Kemp was born in Islington, London, on October 10, 1961. He was a shy child until, at the age of seven, his mother started taking him and older brother Gary to acting classes run by Anna Scher, which boosted his confidence. By the time he was 10 he'd appeared in Jackanory, Rumpole Of The Bailey, and Dixon Of Dock Green. He left school at 16 and planned to become a printer, but gave up an apprenticeship to join brother Gary's band The Gentry, who were later renamed Spandau Ballet.
Career: Spandau Ballet became hugely successful, scoring numerous hits. When they split in 1990, Martin and Gary returned to acting, and surprised many critics with their performances as gangster twins Ronnie and Reggie in The Krays. Martin then tried his luck in Hollywood, but his career was put on hold in 1995 when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. In 1998, fully recovered, he accepted the role of Steve Owen in EastEnders, but quit four years later. He has since appeared in Daddy's Girl, Serious and Organised, Family, Brides in the Bath, Love Lies Bleeding and Waterloo Road. Spandau Ballet reformed in 2009 and Kemp came third in Celebrity Big Brother in 2012. He's also turned to directing with the film Stalker.
Quote: 'I don't agree with all those entertainers that say they would never let their children anywhere near entertainment. I've had such a fantastic time in this business that I would never stop them doing it.'
Sinitta (Contestant)
Born: October 19, 1963 in Seattle
Best Known For: Hit records in the 1980s.
Early-life: Sinitta Renet Malone was born in Seattle on October 19, 1963 to Canadian actress and singer Miquel Brown and Anthony Blackett. She trained at the Legat Ballet School before studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
Career: Sinitta released her first single, Never Too Late, in 1983. Further singles Cruising and Feels Like the First Time were followed by the smash hit So Macho, which peaked at number two in the charts and was the biggest selling British single of 1986. Her debut self-titled album was released a year later and it included the hits Toy Boy, GTO, Cross My Broken Heart and Right Back Where We Started From. The album only peaked at number 34 and her music career soon began to fade away. Her stage credits include The Wiz, Cats, Little Shop of Horrors, Hair and Mutiny! She has worked on The X Factor as a coach and mentor since the show began in 2004. In 2010, she appeared as a contestant on Dancing on Ice, and a year later, she entered the jungle in I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! In early 2014, she was a celebrity contestant on Channel 4 reality series The Jump.
Quote: On her friendship with Simon Cowell: 'People think I am on some sort of crazy payroll, that I have to behave in a certain way, that I am living off him. I'm not paid an allowance by Simon, he doesn't supply my lifestyle.'
