Born: January 24, 1977 in Blackpool
Best Known For: Emmerdale and Dancing on Ice.
Early-life: Hayley Soraya Tamaddon was born in Blackpool on January 24, 1977 to a Persian father and an English mother. She trained as a dancer at Phil Winston's Theatreworks and Laine Theatre Arts. Her first big break came in 2005 when she made her first appearance as Del Dingle on Emmerdale.
Career: In 2007, Tamaddon was the runner-up in ITV's celebrity singing competition Soapstar Superstar. This led to a tour with Michael Ball. She left Emmerdale the same year. Her second big break came in 2010 when she won the fifth series of Dancing on Ice with professional ice skater Daniel Whiston. She has continued to act on TV and on the stage and in late 2013 she joined the cast of Coronation Street. In January 2014, she linked up with fellow former contestants on the final series of Dancing on Ice.
Quote: On her audition for Coronation Street: 'I felt sick, because it was the biggest deal ever. But once I got there I was fine. Everyone was lovely!'
Trivia: On an edition of All Star Family Fortunes, Tamaddon helped raise £30,000 for the Brian House Children's Hospice.
Will Mellor (Contestant)
Born: April 03, 1976 in Stockport
Best Known For: Hollyoaks and Casualty.
Early-life: Born April 3, 1976, in Stockport, Cheshire. He hated school, apart from playing football at lunchtime. Mellor hoped to follow in his father and uncle's footsteps by becoming a boxer, and even took part in amateur bouts, but decided to concentrate on showbusiness instead. At 11, he sang at his sister's wedding reception, where he was spotted by an agent who told him he should try performing professionally.
Career: Mellor's TV debut came in 1987 when he was cast as a young Clive Barker in a documentary. Three years later, he landed a regular role in Children's Ward, but didn't become well known until Hollyoaks began in 1995. He played the character Jambo for three years. A stint in musical Oh What a Night followed. Since then he's starred in Casualty, Is Harry on the Boat?, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and M.I.T: Murder Investigation Team, as well as having a stint in EastEnders. Mellor also had a short-lived pop career and won Celebrity Fame Academy in 2003. Projects since include In With the Flynns, White Van Man and Broadchurch.
Quote: 'There's only so many times I can come in to work with hangovers. I'm trying to take everything a bit more seriously in life, especially my work, because now I've got something to work towards. I've got my children to look after.'
Trivia: Mellor has modelled for Topman.
Danny Dyer (Contestant)
Born: July 24, 1977 in London
Best Known For: Playing Mick Carter in EastEnders.
Early-life: Danny Dyer was born in Canning Town, London, on July 24, 1977 to Antony and Christine. He began a lifelong love of football as a boy and is an ardent West Ham United supporter. After being spotted by an agent while still at school he made his TV acting debut at the age of 16 in Prime Suspect 3. He went on to appear in episodes of Cadfael, A Touch of Frost, Ruth Rendell Mysteries, The Bill and Soldier Soldier.
Career: Dyer's first film was 1999's Human Traffic and he followed this up with roles in a number of low-budget movies, including Borstal Boy (2000), High Heels and Low Lifes (2001), Mean Machine (2001), The Football Factory (2004), Adulthood (2008) and Vendetta (2013). Dyer had a lead role in Run for Your Wife (2013), which was savaged by film critics and only took £602 during its opening weekend. He has also appeared in a number of stage productions, including Celebration and No Man's Land, and has presented documentaries about football and hardmen. In 2013, he joined the cast of EastEnders as Mick Carter.
Quote: His views on film critic Mark Kermode, who has made disparaging remarks about Dyer's work: 'If I see him I don't know how I'm going to react. I'll probably just put the nut on him.'
Trivia: In 2007, Dyer became the chairman of non-league football team Greenwich Borough.
