Katya continues her journey through Spain, where she trains with a team of firefighters and learns how the country is spending billions to fight climate change - money that is coming out of the national defence budget. She then travels to France, witnessing a rocket launch in French Guiana, and learning more about the European Space Agency, which has its base in Paris. In the capital, she also finds out about the country's generous welfare state, before venturing into the countryside to meet farmers who are fed up with European regulation
