Early-life: Jessica Michelle Chastain was born in Sacramento, California, on March 24, 1977 to Jerri and Edward. In 1998, she played Juliet in a production of Romeo and Juliet staged by TheatreWorks. She then moved to New York, where she attended the drama division of the Juilliard School. After graduating in 2003, she returned to California.
Career: Between 2004 and 2007, Chastain made guest appearances in a number of TV shows, including ER, Veronica Mars, Law & Order: Trial by Jury and Journeyman. She made her film debut in Jolene (2008). Her big break came in 2011 with the commercial success of The Help, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. Her other film credits include The Tree of Life (2011), The Debt (2011), Lawless (2012), The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby trilogy (2013-2014), Miss Julie (2014), Interstellar (2014) and A Most Violent Year (2014). She picked up her second Academy Award nomination for her performance in Zero Dark Thirty (2012).

Best Known For: The Amazing Spider-Man movies.
Early-life: Andrew Russell Garfield was born in Los Angeles on August 20, 1983 to Lynn and Richard. He has an English mother and an American father. His family moved to Epsom in Surrey when he was three. Andrew became interested in acting from an early age and joined a youth theatre workshop group in Epsom. He went on to attend the Central School of Speech and Drama. Early success came in 2004 when he won a Manchester Evening News award for best newcomer for his performance in Kes at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre.
Career: Garfield made his TV debut in 2005, appearing in Channel 4 teen drama Sugar Rush. Further TV work followed in Trial & Retribution, Doctor Who, Boy A and the Red Riding trilogy. In 2009, he made the switch to the big screen with a supporting role in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Roles in Never Let Me Go (2010) and The Social Network (2010) followed, and his big break came in 2010 when he was cast in the lead role in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). In 2012, he made his Broadway debut in Death of a Salesman. He returned as the web-slinger in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).

Best Known For: Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
Early-life: Vincent Phillip D'Onofrio was born on June 30, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York. His father was an interior designer, his sister is an acting coach. The family moved a lot, so he grew up in places such as Hawaii, Colorado and Miami. On leaving school he returned to the Big Apple to study at the Actors Studio. To make ends meet, he appeared in student films and became a bouncer.
Career: Following his debut movie, The First Turn-On, in 1983, D'Onofrio became a member of the American Stanislavski Theatre Company and appeared in acclaimed productions of The Petrified Forest, Of Mice and Men, and Sexual Perversity in Chicago. His Broadway debut came in 1984's Open Admissions, and he hasn't looked back since. Films include Full Metal Jacket (for which he gained 70 pounds to play troubled Private Pyle), JFK, Malcolm X, Ed Wood, Men in Black, and The Cell. In 2001, D'Onofrio began playing Detective Robert Goren in TV series Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He quit the role in season nine, but returned in the final season of eight episodes.
