Best Known For: Hustle.
Early-life: Robert Lewis Glenister was born in Watford on March 11, 1960. He is the son of director John Glenister and the older brother of actor Philip Glenister. In 1980, Robert made his TV debut alongside Peter Davison in the BBC sitcom Sink or Swim.
Career: Glenister is a much sought-after actor and he has appeared in a number of popular British TV shows, including Doctor Who, Chancer, Soldier Soldier, Casualty, Prime Suspect: The Lost Child, Midsomer Murders, Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost, Jane Hall, and Inspector George Gently. He is perhaps best known for his role as Ash Morgan in Hustle. More recently, he has starred in The Cafe, The Great Train Robbery, Law & Order: UK, Vera and Code of a Killer.
