Rebecca Charlton presents action from the fifth stage of this year's race, a 158.3km route starting in Lannemezan and ending in Pau. Remco Evenepoel became the third Belgian stage winner at this stage last year after he won a 33km individual time trial around the city of Caen on the north-west coast of France. That victory moved him up to second in the overall standings behind eventual winner Tadej Pogacar
