Simon Bird (Actor) .. Will McKenzie
Born: August 19, 1984 in Guildford, Surrey
Best Known For: The Inbetweeners.
Early-life: Simon Antony Bird was born in Guildford, Surrey, in 1984. He attended the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, where he became an accomplished violinist and took part in a variety of orchestras. He then moved on to study English at Queens' College, Cambridge. Alongside his studies, he got involved with the illustrious Footlights drama group, eventually being elected as its chairman in 2005.
Career: After leaving Cambridge, Bird set up the sketch comedy group The House of Windsor with Inbetweeners co-star Joe Thomas. They performed at the Edinburgh Festival in 2007 and 2008, receiving favourable coverage in the national press. His breakthrough came in 2008 when he was cast as Will McKenzie in the delightfully crude high-school sitcom The Inbetweeners. He was named Best Actor at the 2009 British Comedy Awards. Three series of The Inbetweeners was followed by a hugely successful movie version. The movie sequel was released in August 2014. He has also hosted comedy panel show The King is Dead and starred in Friday Night Dinner and Chickens.
Quote: "I'm pretty geeky I think. I don't really have to act that much! Hopefully I'm not quite as officious as Will, but yeah I've definitely got some geeky tendencies."
Joe Thomas (Actor) .. Simon Cooper
Born: October 28, 1983 in Chelmsford, Essex
Best Known For: The Inbetweeners and Fresh Meat.
Early-life: Joseph Thomas was born in Chelmsford, Essex, on October 28, 1983. He read history at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and it was here that he was a member of the Footlights with his Inbetweeners co-star Simon Bird. He performed with the Footlights at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in All's Well That Ends Well.
Career: Thomas's big break came in 2008 when he began playing Simon Cooper in hugely popular E4 sitcom The Inbetweeners. It ran for three series until 2010 and The Inbetweeners Movie was a big box-office success in 2011. More recently, Joe has played Kingsley in E4 comedy drama Fresh Meat and George in Sky1 comedy Chickens, which Joe writes with co-stars Simon Bird and Jonny Sweet. The Inbetweeners 2 was released in cinemas in August 2014.

Trivia: He can play the guitar and the violin.
James Buckley (Actor) .. Jay Cartwright
Born: August 14, 1987 in Croydon
Best Known For: Playing Jay Cartwright in The Inbetweeners and a young Del Boy Trotter in Rock & Chips.
Early-life: James Patrick Buckley was born in Croydon on August 14, 1987. At the age of two, he moved with his family to Dagenham. He began going to a stage school at weekends from the age of seven. At the age of 11, he landed his first professional acting jobs in West End shows Whistle Down the Wind and Les Miserables.
Career: Buckley's big break came in 2008 when he was cast in the role of Jay Cartwright in E4 comedy The Inbetweeners alongside Simon Bird, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas. Three series were followed by two hugely successful spin-off movies. He has also played a young Del Boy Trotter in BBC comedy drama Rock & Chips, and Mr Norris in the TV movie The Boy in the Dress.
Quote: On The Inbetweeners: "As soon as we're all together we're juvenile."
Trivia: He is heavily in demand as a voiceover artist for commercials. In 2012, he made his directorial debut when he directed a music video for Essex band The Milk.
Blake Harrison (Actor) .. Neil Sutherland
Born: July 22, 1985 in London
Best Known For: Playing Neil Sutherland in The Inbetweeners.
Early-life: Born Blake Harrison Keenan in London on July 22, 1985, he went on to attend the Brit School and the East 15 Acting School.
Career: Harrison's big break as an actor came in 2008 when he was cast in the role of Neil Sutherland in E4 comedy The Inbetweeners alongside Simon Bird, James Buckley and Joe Thomas. Three series were followed by two hugely successful spin-off movies. His other TV credits include Him & Her, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, White Van Man, Bleak Old Shop of Stuff, Big Bad World and Edge of Heaven.
Quote: "I've never had a plan B."
Trivia: In 2014, Harrison began voicing the character Scoop in a revamped version of Bob the Builder. He supports Millwall FC.

Greg Davies (Actor) .. Mr Gilbert
Born: May 14, 1968 in St Asaph, Wales
Best Known For: The Inbetweeners, Man Down and his stand-up tours.
Early-life: Greg was born in St Asaph, Wales, on May 14, 1968 but his parents moved to Wem in Shropshire soon after his birth. Before embarking on a career in showbiz, Greg taught drama and English for 13 years at Sandhurst School in Berkshire and Orleans Park School in Twickenham.
Career: Davies started to get noticed for his comedy as one third of sketch comedy group We Are Klang. His big break came in 2008 when he began playing schoolteacher Mr Gilbert in E4's hugely popular sitcom The Inbetweeners. In 2010, Davies's debut solo stand-up show, Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog, was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award, which led to a sell-out nationwide tour. His second solo tour, The Back of My Mum's Head, was another sell-out national tour. He plays the lead role in popular Channel 4 sitcom Man Down, a series he also co-writes.
Quote: "I think people find this schoolteacher thing hilarious," he says, "I always get asked if I was actually any good. Well, how do I answer that?"
Trivia: At 6ft 8, it is difficult for Davies to blend into a crowd.
