Early-life: Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee. He has two half-brothers, Jonathan and Steven. Music was his passion from an early age and he famously appeared on the TV show Mickey Mouse Club, alongside Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling and JC Chasez, when he was eight years old. At school he excelled in science and struggled in maths, but preferred to concentrate on his showbiz career rather than academic success.

Timberlake eventually went solo, and his debut album Justified was an acclaimed success; he's since released the albums FutureSex/LoveSounds and The 20/20 Experience. He has several acting credits to his name, including The Social Network, Shrek the Third, Bad Teacher and Trouble with the Curve.
