Philip Seymour Hoffman (Actor) .. Gunther Bachmann

Best Known For: A string of acclaimed movie roles.
Early-life: Born in Rochester, New York, on July 23, 1967. He was the son of a lawyer and a business executive, and had three siblings. His parents divorced when he was nine. Philip developed a passion for drama at high school, and studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, from where he graduated in 1989.
Career: Philip's TV debut came in an episode of Law & Order and early films included Scent of a Woman. By the late 1990s, he started to make critics take notice with indie hits Boogie Nights, The Big Lebowski, Happiness, Flawless and Magnolia. On stage he also impressed critics with True West. During the last 10 years of his life, Philip had become one of Hollywood's most reliable character actors, adding depth to projects such as Cold Mountain, Capote (for which he won an Oscar), and Mission: Impossible III. Other projects include The Savages, Charlie Wilson's War, Synecdoche, New York, Doubt, The Invention of Lying, Moneyball, The Master and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. He died in New York on February 2, 2014, at the age of 46.

Rachel McAdams (Actor) .. Annabel Richter

Best Known For: Morning Glory and Mean Girls.
Early-life: Rachel Anne McAdams was born in London, Ontario, on November 17, 1978. She is the eldest of three children. She began figure skating at the age of four and competed in the sport until she was 18. She attended Disney and Shakespeare summer camps as a child and from the age of 12, appeared in Original Kids Theatre Company productions. After being persuaded by her English teacher to consider a career in acting, she enrolled on a four-year theatre programme at York University in Toronto. While at university, Rachel worked with the Necessary Angel Theatre Company.
Career: In 2001, McAdams shot an MTV pilot called Shotgun Love Dolls and in the same year, she made her film debut in My Name is Tanino. She received a Genie Award nomination in Canada for her role in Perfect Pie (2002). Her first Hollywood movie was The Hot Chick (2002), and her big break came in 2004 when she starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in teen comedy Mean Girls. Since then, McAdams has appeared in The Notebook (2004), Wedding Crashers (2005), State of Play (2009), Sherlock Holmes (2009) and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), Morning Glory (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011) and About Time (2013).

Willem Dafoe (Actor) .. Tommy Brue

Best Known For: Playing the Green Goblin in Spider-Man.
Early-life: Born William Dafoe on July 22, 1955, in Wisconsin, he picked up the nickname Willem in high school. He was the son of a surgeon and a nurse. He's the second youngest of eight children, which he believes may have fuelled his desire to act, as he was used to fighting for attention. After leaving school, Willem went on to study drama at the University of Wisconsin, but felt he didn't fit in there, and dropped out early to join an experimental acting group Theatre X.
Career: Willem toured with Theatre X for four years, before joining avant garde New York company The Performance Group. He made his first venture into film acting with a role in Heaven's Gate, but was cut from the finished movie. He went on to win parts in To Live and Die in LA and The Loveless, but his big break came with Platoon, which earned him an Oscar nomination. He also made headlines in 1988 when he took the lead role in the controversial The Last Temptation of Christ. Since then, his movies have included Mississippi Burning, Born on the Fourth of July, The English Patient, Shadow of the Vampire (for which he received another Oscar nod) and Spider-Man. His more recent films include Antichrist, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, Daybreakers and Miral.

Early-life: Robin Gayle Wright was born in Dallas, Texas, on April 8, 1966, but she was raised in San Diego, California. She started working at the age of 14 as a model in Paris and Japan. After finishing high school she decided to become an actress.
Career: Wright first became famous on TV, playing Kelly Capwell on the soap opera Santa Barbara, and shot to stardom after her roles as Buttercup in The Princess Bride and Jenny Curran in Forrest Gump, the latter role garnering her a Golden Globe Award nomination for best supporting actress. She then put in an exceptional performance in Jack Nicholson flick, The Pledge. Her recent work includes roles in Whie Oleander, The Singing Detective, Nine Lives, Beowulf, New York, I Love You, State of Play, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, and House of Cards.

Early-life: Daniel Cesar Martin Bruhl Gonzalez was born in Barcelona on June 16, 1978. His father was German Brazilian TV director Hanno Bruhl. His Spanish mother was a teacher. He has a brother and sister, Oliver and Miriam. Shortly after he was born, his family relocated to Cologne, Germany. Daniel made his acting debut in 1995 in German soap opera Verbotene Liebe.
Career: Bruhl first came to prominence to global audiences in Good Bye Lenin! (2003). He made his English-speaking debut alongside Judi Dench and Maggie Smith in Ladies in Lavender (2004). Since then, Bruhl has starred in The Edukators (2004), Salvador (2006), 2 Days in Paris (2007), The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). More recently, he has appeared in 2 Days in New York (2011), Rush (2013), Burnt (2015) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). He was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance as Niki Lauda in Rush.
